Paddock's motive--What if his ultimate goal was to hurt the Casino INDUSTRY?
10/3/2017 | Self--vanity

So far, nobody seems to be able to come up with any motive at all as to why Paddock would do this. Could Paddock have become so sociopathic that he would slaughter and wound hundreds of innocent people, specifically to harm or get back at the casino industry? Maybe so. We're told that he had become quite wealthy and owned multiple houses. Is it possible that he had become so obsessed with wealth that he developed some sort of "Gollom" syndrome, in which he became completely materialistic, as well as selfish and devoid of normal human affectation towards others?

Well, first, we have heard that he was a "high roller" gambler and had gambled tens of thousands of dollars in the recent past. What we have not heard is whether that gambling produced winnings or losses. If he recently lost large sums of money and believed he was cheated, might that have infuriated him? I'd be interested to know -- what type of recent interactions had he had at casinos?

We're also told that, although having been twice married, he had no children, so he would not have experienced the depth of familial love that he was about to deprive others of. He was in a position to have become habituated to doing whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted, without much regard to the effects on other people.

Finally, we're told today that Las Vegas casinos/hotels are considering implementing tighter security measures. Any measures that would reduce the numbers of tourist and gamblers visiting Vegas might financially hurt the industry.

Could this have been Paddock's ultimate goal? Was he so depraved and vindictive as to be willing to slaughter innocent people in an attempt to exact retribution against the casino industry? It seemed that James Hodgkinson had become exactly that depraved and callous when he tried to assassinate the Republican reps at the baseball practice.

Perhaps it will eventually come out, but I have yet to see any information about Paddock that would indicate why he would simply hate concert attendees and want to wipe them out. Hopefully, his computer hard drive and social media content will shed some light on why he committed this horrible act.

Another Deep State arranged situation, no need to investigate.

“And this event will hurt Las Vegas bad.”

I’ll reserve judgement.

Has Ariana Grande or the venue of her attack concert suffered?

I seem to recall Vegas still doing alright after the market crash that eventually brought the Fraud to power.

I’m guessing they’ll have relief benefits and other enticements and boast of more security so that all the adult film industry and other conventioneers continue to come.

In other news, toy and teddy bear stock values will rise.

I disagree.. One incident in a city isn't going to deter anyone. Perhaps if incidents kept happening over and over in one city then people might start to get nervous.

On the other hand, if concerts (anywhere) keep getting attacked (we've seen a few of those now in different places) or have bad fires and things, then concerts in general might make folks nervous.

Dina Titus, (D) House of Representative for Las Vegas, said yesterday in an interview that he was winning at the tables. And said housekeeping had been in and out of his room and reported nothing out of the ordinary.

You're referring to a psychopath. Word from shrinks is that psychopaths don't change much, tend to be successful in employment more often than others and tend to avoid being diagnosed.

Mass killings at concerts in Paris, Manchester and Las Vegas.

I suspect people will prefer recorded music and movies will come out on DVD or on cable without ever seeing a movie theater.

Shopping malls are dying.

Big box stores might have to go to well-distributed checkout points and end their doorbusters.

Restaurants might have to put in armored tables.

His goal may have been to hurt the casino industry, but the gambling industry would surely like to ditch the expensive marble and mirrors and go Internet and grow its profits.

“ability to think rationally”

Stress is surely the big culprit.

Imagine:
a. going $40,000 in debt at a university and being shown the door or
b. losing 90% of one’s life savings at casinos or
c. a Muslim man being told by his wife to hit the road since the welfare state will provide for her
d. working for years at a government job and being shown the door before your pension vests

By now, it's pretty certain the FBI knows, having collected all his info.

What will the public be allowed to know? Whatever they decide is useful for purposes of their political agenda.

[ If Stephen Paddock was a deep in debt gambler who thought the casinos ripped him off - why didn’t he go after them?

He shot up a country music festival full of innocent people. But full of pro-Trump folks. He picked his target very carefully and with months of preparation.

There are lots of angles that need to be investigated. ]

One would think that he would bomb a casino floor or something if his target was specifically the casinos themselves.

He did apparently have explosives at his house.

Already reported that he lost a lawsuit against a casino last year where he claimed a injury in the casino accident was caused by the casino’s injury.

Open secret in Nevada that the legal system favors casinos and many claims are just sour grapes from big losers.

I have no information that this is the case, just speculation.

there is a reason that casinos keep giving perks to bring back high rollers who are winners. The unforgiving odds say the gambler will eventually hit a losing streak.
