Why?
1 - His target. A country concert filled with mostly White, Conservative, Trump supporters. (God Bless America was sung less than an hour before the attack at the venue. That only happens at Conservative events).
2 - If he had had ANY political agenda, opinions, thoughts, etc that were not Leftist wingnut, we would have certainly heard about it before now and the media would be busy trying to tie him to Trump in some way. As of now, we are getting absolutely nothing in regards to his political views. Almost impossible to find a person with no political views of some kind in this nation right now.
3 - The bizarre interviews his bizarre brother has been giving. Anyone who watches and studies them comes away with the feeling that something is off about him and what he is saying about his brother. He is hiding something.
4 - His "friend/girlfriend/whatever" is the ex-wife of an virulent, anti-Trump, Maddow loving, Leftist wingnut. Unlikely she would go from that to anything to the Right of that, even a to a moderate.
5 - Because the media/Dems are pretending there is no "political" motive to be seen they can run with their anti-gun agenda without interference or distraction by ancillary (to them) issues.
I believe it may just be found that the most likely motive is the hatred inspired by CNN/MSNBC/ANTIFA and Liberals such as those on DU as an example.
To Conservatives: Watch your backs and if you haven't already, arm up in public and at large gatherings. ANTIFA types are filled with delusional, gonna-save-the-world-from-Trump, Leftist, Marxists and radicals who are far, FAR outside any acceptable, normal behavior or values of normal political life. These folks burn with a hatred of Trump and HATRED, intense HATRED, of America unlike any I have ever seen, including the turbulent '60s!!

I agree, that is the likeliest explanation. His ex-wife was ethnic Japanese and his girlfriend was Filipina and from his months and months of hanging out in Nevada casinos he probably knows lots of illegal Filipinos and Hispanics working in the casinos. And if he listens to the mainstream media pound the drumbeat that Trump and his supporters are white supremacists and the loss of Las Vegas as a sanctuary city and many people, maybe even his girlfriend being exposed to deportation. So he went Democrat/Antifa terrorist on the ‘fascists’.
I don’t rule out ISIS though. The life of a supposed professional video poker player must be pretty empty spiritually and incredibly boring after the first day or two. Doing that for months on end? Soul-crushing. And he’s probably been involved with criminal activities, with perhaps a lot of guilt to be rationalized away. The signs add up to a career not as a professional gambler but as a money launderer. Perhaps for the cartels and others who need to launder money, into the many residential real estate properties he seems to have been involved in over the years. I saw one press report that he was listed at 27 different addresses in Nevada, Florida and Texas in recent years. And that excludes California where he lived for many years.
He seemed to steer scrupulously away from anything that might bring contact with law enforcement. He kept aloof from neighbors, telling them only that he earned a living as a professional gambler (perhaps to conceal money laundering). Maybe he was himself for a while involved in drug transportation using his private planes. He might well have come into contact with ISIS types in these activities.
Just exactly how does one become a multi-millionaire “managing apartments”?
We used to be able to immediately identify when someone was acting strange, and call it out. Now, for example if you mention that Sandy Hook parents were acting more than a little odd, you have people trying to shame you into silence. They honestly had a medical examiner cracking jokes the next day. A parent laughing on camera less than 24 hrs after finding out his child had died. Others fake crying or smiling. And, most, setting up “go fund me” pages. Fund them for what?
Something has changed in our society, and I don't just mean with the left. It's like we can't ascertain normal anymore? What is going on. Brainwashing?

What’s interesting is that he lives and gambles in places with the highest concentration of HD cameras on earth. Even a crappy Reno casino has cameras everywhere.
