Seriously... what would be their storyline now? “Grannies on the prowl?”

Kim has seen a bit too many winters to be making Sex-in-ANYTHING movies these days...

I think the arguement was over the inclusion of the obligatory Cattrall nude scene. Cattrall wanted it left in, everybody else wanted it edited out.Calling a film "Sex and the City" with those long-in-the-tooth actresses has a high "eeeeeeeeew" factor about it.

Sex in the City was basically about four gay males trapped in women’s bodies.

Im obviously in the minority here but I loved the series which was very cleverly written. I loved the movies although the first was far better. Good escapes and those of you who havent seen them you dont know what is smart about some of the writing. Its just fun and girlie stuff. The clothes and shoes!
And so what these women are getting older. So am I but I take care of myself too. Geez, we dont exactly have to give up our sex appeal after a certain age. I, for one, was really looking forward to the third movie.
Do I despise these peoples personal politics? Yes! But I dont take them seriously on that score. And if we only watched shows with people we agreed with it would be pretty sparse.

It was a good show.
The truth is some men were/are just intimidated by it.
Making fun of men who are bad lovers, bad kissers, badly endowed(Gherkin episode), etc hits a little to close to home for them.
It’s a f’ing gherkin.
What can I say, I need a big one.

Haha. Yes, I remember that one. Funny. But they made equally as much fun of themselves. I know this sounds crazy trust me it DOES sound crazy, but they dispense some amazing good advice in those shows at times. Even my ex husband agreed and wed laugh about it because it was so unexpected. Thats not why I watched however. It was just a great escape. Nothing more. I still watch the shows over again and always will. Call me shallow but I assure you Im far from that. I just like what I like.
And who can forget hes just not that into you, something we women never wanted to hear but is reality. Blunt. Its actually smart writing. ;)

Well put.
Often men can dish it out, but not take.
And, well, then there was the eye candy of Chris Noth(Mr.Big).
Another episode I loved was the horrendous kisser....
the guy who would just slobber all over Charlotte’s face.

I was hoping for a repeat of her trapeze scene from the tv series.

Seriously though... Kim does look good for age 61. But another roll-in-the-sack-fest movie? Glad they’re thinking twice about that...
