Playboy founder Hugh M. Hefner, the pipe-smoking hedonist who revved up the sexual revolution in the 1950s and built a multimedia empire of clubs, mansions, movies and television, symbolized by bow-tied women in bunny costumes, has died at age 91.
Hefner died of natural causes at his home surrounded by family tonight, Playboy said in a statement.

Kreski was Jimmy Caans squeeze back then
She died 20 years ago of a major stroke at only 48
Shannon Tweed was another one with great rack
I never could figure why Gene Simmons would share her
Not me.
Yes the 91 years that God in His infinite mercy granted him finally ran out. 91 years is NOTHING compared to eternity.
I used to sneak into my uncle’s stash of Playboys to read the articles. When I got older I just looked at the pictures and LMAO at the jokes ;)
Nope. Not sexual lust. I just love looking at beautiful women, my wife included. My daughter is tall and beautiful, and my granddaughters are going to be very pretty when they grow up (and smart, talented, and kind).
I can’t even think of the last time I bought a Playboy magazine. Got some through newspaper work because of the interviews which were top notch, and very revealing. Used them in my writings and hopefully in an upcoming book I’m helping with.
Some of the Sci-Fi writing was excellent but the stories on Vietnam, which I watched very closely, were pretty back for the most part. We had to know what the Left was saying and often lying about - McCoy on drugs, etc.
Also, Playboy and another crappy, hardcore one carried on a major campaign of exposing and denigrating our intelligence services and operations. Since I was part of one of them, I was very interested in how the Left would attack us.
You have to read what the enemy writes in order to know how to counteract their propaganda.
We Nam guys never stop watching our enemies and quietly refute many of their lies and disinformation with a very high level of information, websites, and publications.
Gee, I hope he’s proud of what he did in his life... ‘Cause people like me sure aren’t.
Like a pornographer was supposed to be a philanthropist or something? I bet in his own mind, he thought he was.
Watch the alt-left @ssplode all weekend.
It’s a good day when libs leave...
He had a hard life.
Are they going to lay him out in his bathrobe?
Your statement epitomizes the degradation of all healthy eros Hefner planted in the men addicted to his low class _magazine.
I liked the Vargas art . I believe that Vargas was the original source of countless ‘ nose art ‘ on our WW2 aircraft . So Hef helped continue that tradition .
I saw this and told my wife. I said, I guess we won’t be going to the mansion now.
Her first comment was, “Can you imagine the furniture in that place? It must be crawling with disease.”
Pretty much sums it up.
Actually, no.
But, you know it when you see it.
But we still have Stan Lee.
I sincerely hope that he somehow made peace with the Lord before he passed from this life to the next, because as someone on here said, he caused many men to struggle. Something tells me he didn’t, though, and that sadly brings to mind the words of Jesus: “What does it profit a man, that he should gain the whole world and yet lose his soul?” Very sad.
RIP!
Mentioned the same thing to my wife when she told me the news last night.
It’s the end of an era.
Thank you, Hugh, for Barbie Benton.
Thanks for the mammaries, Hugh...
