So the local Miami media just reported 150 NFL players acted the fool yesterday.
I did some quick math.
53.players multiplied by 32 teams =1.696 players. 150 players divided by 1,696 players = less than 9%.
Does that 150 number include teams that violated NFL rules and did not show up on the field before the anthem was played?
It’s still 10% too many. Athletes, as a whole need some self-censorship and a reminder about WHO pays their princely salaries!
The issue isn’t only 9%, the issue is the spectacle they are making.
The league tolerates it ... supports it, even.
The league is corrupt.
To HELL with the NFL.
Make no mistake. The league is 100% on board with this protest. They have done everything they possibly could to squash anything that 1 in a million might possibly find offensive, unless they agree with the statement. If they wanted to, they could’ve ended this overnight.
The NFL heavily regulate every issue, item and product on and off the field.....
If a player wears the wrong shoes or puts a small sticker on their helmet or jersey (even ones expressing their own political views) they are be significantly fined.....
The NFL has been suppressing players free speech on the field for years....
That they are not, on the issue of standing for the flag, shows the true colors of the owners and the league....

Note the NFL even had the announcers make a NFL written comment before the broadcast games...they picked the words to frame the issue as one of team unity to shift focus away from what this really was: support for the facists. The only thing missing were pictures of H Rap Brown.

I always thought that there was an NFL Rule requiring players to stand and show respect during the National Anthem, but then I may be wrong.
The rule states that teams must be on the field for the National Anthem. The rule was instituted in 2009. Interesting timing on that, eh? Makes one wonder what was going on to make the league feel the need to codify the policy.
