As the National Football League struggles to explain this season’s downturn in viewer ratings, 34% of American Adults say they are less likely to watch an NFL game because of the growing number of protests by players on the field. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 12% are more likely to watch, while 50% say the protests have no impact on their viewing decisions. Good. LOL. Those racist, hater, ungrateful players...and owners...can suck it up and lose revenue. Hahaha.
They - NFL HQ - have been warned.
They need to sit down with the owners, and the owners need to sit down with the players. The team members need to understand they are being paid to play, and that payment comes from the box-office and the on-air advertising, not their politics. You want to make a political statement, take out a paid advertisement on YOUR dime, not on the team’s on-air time.
