Anyone else notice this?
New World Order.
The visual changes were needed to get the industry Fake News Seal of Approval. They have standards, dont you know.
I wouldn’t know. Never go to any of them.
The layout is probably more of a design thing where it simply works best for news content. The actual stories they push are what matters more.
With regard to Fox, they have been moving more to the left lately, and this is a bit scary because some conservative leaning people who rely on Fox for news and who are not strong minded can be swayed by the propaganda.
In the end, we must make people aware that all mainstream news sites and TV channels are simply ‘Newsertainment’ They are no different than the National Enquirer or TMZ for the news. At least N.E. and TMZ are honest about what they are so I actually have respect for them!
Any news you consume should always be verified against the original source. i.e. one of the headlines today is “Trump threatens to destroy North Korea!” This sounds scary but when you listen to his UN speech, it is right on!
Working in the software industry, I think it has more to do with creating sites that are easier to render across different platforms. People access these sites not just from PCs anymore, but tablets and mobile devices. Used to be you had to have different sites for each platform. Now you can create a single site that will adjust its layout automatically to fit the device.
The Ministry of Truth has uniform standards.
We are in the process of CUTTING the cord with cable. Now have UHF antenna in attic and receive close to 90 channels (many of which are foreign language), but will still have access to the 3 majors for non-political national/weather emergency news only when needed. Going STREAMING via internet and ONE AMERICA NEWS for political stuff. Savings? about 70 bucks per month! If you live within 50 miles or so of a big city, investigate UHF availability in your area. Good antennas cheap compared to the constantly hiked cable BS prices!
With few exceptions (Hannity, Tucker, Pirro)
FOX is listing so far to port, they should drown soon!
That’s how software works, a style becomes to current style and everybody follows. Open the latest version of each browser that’s still under dev to all the same site and without looking at the icon in bar tell the difference. Visual styles lean towards being the same, and when the goal is the same (they’re all “news” sites) they’re all trying to solve the same problem.
No conspiracy.
If you want to see conformity take a look at any Gannet owned newspaper. All the websites have the same layout.
Same with certain television news stations.
Looks like they put a blurb on the web page explaining this.
