After a series of high-profile missteps, ESPN insiders are worried that the network’s mission of “serving sports fans,” is becoming hard to believe. Over the last few weeks, three incidents befell ESPN that sent network executives scrambling to recover from the public relations embarrassments which caused so much “angst” inside the cable sports network, according to Sports Business Journal.

I started to notice how bad they had become when one of the sportscasters did an unsolicited major anti-gun rant. Was it Bob Costas? That was years ago, but since then, they’ve only picked up the pace, with sympathy to BLM/Kaepernick.
Pregame shows on all channels have little real news.
NFL Network and NHL networks are better than most but they specialize their coverage.
It’s all goofball antics and on ESPN leftist politics too.
SportCenter hasn’t been watchable for years.

Whoever is calling the shots at ESPN knows exactly what they are doing. They probably think they are being especially courageous for taking a hit in viewership due to “standing up for what is right”.
The NFL/ESPN have decided to serve those who sign the backs of paychecks (players) as opposed to those who sign the front of them (the fans).
I can’t wait til they have successfully pizzed off every middle-aged white male in the country to the point that NASCAR and Golf are the only sports they support.
Rumors say ESPN’s target demogrsphic is ANTIFA.
Obviously, they are not worried enough to fix the problem.
They are busy catering to a demographic who will never consume their product. Let’s see how that works out for them.
