Nurses at a naval hospital in Florida have been booted from their posts after sick photos went viral of them rudely posing with newborn babies and referring to the tots as mini Satans.
One of the pics posted to Snapchat shows Allyson Thompson, a corpsman at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, flipping the bird to a baby whos wrapped in a blanket, along with the caption, How I currently feel about these mini Satans, according to Action News Jacksonville.
In another photo, Thompson grins as she holds a baby up by its arms. The pic was shared by a woman who identified the employee as a navy nurse who made the newborn dance to rap music, First Coast News reported.

Wait til the board of nursing gets on their case.
Disgusting...
I hope the military prosecutes them to the maximum penalty.
Makes me want to throw up!
I don’t intend to read the article, what was on the lead-in was sickening enough. No room anywhere for that type of behavior nor the motivating mindset.
Morning colors will become a memorable event as these criminals and 2-3 levels of enlisted and commissioned supervisors are run up.
Reference was made to both nurse and corpsmen. Unless structure has changed, nurses are commissioned officers and corpsmen are enlisted.
These are euphemistically referred to as “career-limiting moves.” Not many options open for OB/neonatal nurses who hate babies.
Me too! When I became a mother, I was endowed by the Lord with the protective instincts of a Mama Grizzly. My baby would have been carried off the premises muy pronto-— and there would have been some “nurses” walking around with claw marks.
OK -— so, what if they *were* of Muslim parentage?
Not fired? I would never think of giving a newborn baby the bird. I mean, wtf, what's the point? If they're so depraved they'll do that and yank a newborn around in a simulated break dance, what's next? Holding a pillow over the newborn's face? And it's not just newborns; they probably shouldn't be taking care of patients anywhere in the hospital. I wouldn't want them taking care of a helpless old person suffering from dementia, say, who has already lost the lion's share of whatever dignity he or she had left. I don't want to be unfairly harsh. Anyone can make a mistake. But really, they should go. imo
"Snapchat shows Allyson Thompson, a corpsman at Naval Hospital..."
The parents could have been Democrats !!
They compared the babies to Satan.
Satan is usually portrayed as being male.
Did they just do this to male babies?
I suspect the parents will sue the hospital.......
Hospital Corpsmen are NOT nurses. ANYONE doing this is sick. But if no NURSES were involved don’t disparage the Nursing profession.
I’ll tell you one thing about those babies, no matter who their parents were: they were brought into existence by the Holy Spirit, who is the Lord and Giver of Life; Jesus Christ personally identifies with them (see tagline); and to disrespect them is to incur the wrath of Heaven.
It just evidences again the lack of ‘thinking’ with young people today. ..who believe the world is only there for their entertainment.
What I said to the others:
Ill tell you one thing about those babies, no matter who their parents were: they were brought into existence by the Holy Spirit, who is the Lord and Giver of Life; Jesus Christ personally identifies with them (see tagline); and to disrespect them is to incur the wrath of Heaven.
What in the hell is going on with these people and this country?
That nurse pictured, has the evil eye. Normal people still want to work with the babies.
At NAS JAX, I would say this is highly unlikely, not that it matters one whit.
Two of my three children were born in this hospital and likely that my fourth will be as well and I have held the officers, corpsmen and civilian staff working here in high regard for their professionalism.
This is just head-scratching for two reasons: Primarily the unprofessional, demeaning, and childish behavior they exhibited but also the mind-boggling stupidity that at some point it was decided to post these pics on the internet! Under her real name!
What are these people thinking???
“Were the newborns of muslim parentage?
With all due respect, that does not matter. They are innocent children with parents who love them.”
Yea love them enough to put suicide vests on them, even as infants.
Hate to admit it but VietVet876 has a point there.
I don’t know if this story is true, a joke of some kind, a set-up.
I do know that my daughter and daughter-in-law are both nurses, and they would not be allowed by their employers to have those long, pink fingernails as shown in the “flipping off” picture. Especially for a NICU nurse.
