I looked up Family Readiness and it's something to do with a US Army program!
Btt to follow
Next time write down the phone number and call it.
Do you live near an army base?
We have Comcast I think and our land line is tied in. When the phone rings it comes up with a text on the screen saying the number and the name of the caller.
I wonder if the military uses similar to get the message out, and you are a wrong number? It could be something as plain as calls from charity groups calling for support of Iraqi vets. “Please support the Family Readiness program that helps families of Iraqi war vets ....”
Although obviously something isn’t right if it flashes by so quickly that you can’t get the number.
“IFTTT” message? You have the “Comcast Labs” feature turned on?

Why don’t you call the number?
Do you have a ‘Smart TV’?
Does your TV have connection to the Internet via WiFi or phone line?
Does it have BlueTooth?
You could be getting text messages sent out that are not intended for you.
Since it was not on the screen when you rewound the TVR, it was probably sent thru the landline or WiFi connection..............
It’s like the buzzer!
