Why in this day of age boxing has human judges is ridiculous. The x box one can track 6 people each with 25 joints it cost$80. professional boxing is a fraud. That was a great fight atrocious decision

Rockhold will tear him apart if he can avoid GSP’s takedowns- which are among the best in the business really- if it’s a striking match (which it prolly won’t be- as GSP will try to go canvas as soon as he can) then I predict rockhold wins fairly easily

I also saw that The Black Beast Lewis is on the next card. Apparently he has not retired.
I see now it was drugs- that’s too bad- jones had such a great future if he only just kept his nose clean- He’s gonna claim in an appeal that a nutritional supplement caused the test fail- not sure if that will fly- but apparently it has in the past for other fighters-
All that said, it was a heckuva fight, ruined by one incompetent (or corrupt) official.
baseball has the same issue on balls and strikes and plays on the bases.
Thats true but there are so many games - and it seems that most of the times these guys get it right.
The consequence of a blown call is much less on average.
And now they do have instant replay. But baseball is already slow enough the technology would have to speed it up, rather than add more time.
I umpired professional baseball in the minor leagues. They told us we’d make 150-200 calls a night behind the plate and miss maybe 1-3% The issues the players have is consistency. you may have heard some umps have a high strike zone, some call the plate too wide and so forth. When you see umps being yelled out it’s not just the missed call at the wrong time, it’s consistency. pro batters will adjust to an umpire if they know what the umpire will call and the pitchers adjust also.
Lasers and robots would make the game consistent from ump to ump.
All that being said, i favor the human element. LOL

They say he’ll probably get a 2 year suspension. This isn’t his first violation.

First up is Bisping v. GSP. Then the winner has to face interim champ Whitaker.
I wonder if GSP has anything left. Not a lot of unretirments have been very successful. I think he might beat Bisping, he’ll be the betting favorite. But against really good younger guys like Rockhold and Whitaker....

IF He’s lost too much I think he will lose against bisping- I doubt he’s stayed in shape as well as he did when he was competing- maybe I’m wrong- it was odd to me that he quit when he did- seemed like maybe he got sick of getting hit and the recovery times- lost the zeal for the game so to speak-
I haven’t really followed bisping- never really cared for him-so i don’t know how much he’s lost if anything in regards to stamina/strength/speed etc
It’ll be an interesting matchup-
