Empirical study of Google search listings in relation to "climate realist" (i.e., skeptical) and then politically "conservative" websites shows Google is highly biased against these sites and highly biased in favor of politically liberal and/or "climate Alarmist" websites.

It has been obvious for many years that Google leadership and organizational culture is highly left/liberal, but this study demonstrates the extent to which Google is biasing its search results in favor of the left and against conservative leaning websites.

This matters greatly since of course it steers countless millions of web users consistently toward left/liberal websites, biased information, and causes.

Yup, agree.

Try finding that list of thousands (yes, thousands) of PhD types who think that the human-caused climate change is dubious at best.

And always remember, Gore is the son of a SOB crook senator, and as such, is also a SOB crook senator. Of course, I need not say he’s a cretin because I covered that with the term “senator”.

I like how recently they are pushing propaganda articles to me. Oh you like immigration - here is a sob story about how America is making this latino womans baby sick and by America we mean racist white guys encouraged by president Trump.

Google thinks its more significant and important at this point then America. With that level of hubris Googles nightmare could just be a click away.

Why should Google link to this idiot Leo Goldstein, and why do the deniers pick him as a leader?

Or, Lord Monckton?

Or, Anthony Watts?

They are liberals. Of course they are going to abuse their power. Inside every liberal is a fascist screaming to get out.

The key question I have, and which should a part of Robert Mueller’s mandate, is to what extent did the major search engines specially weight the search results during the campaign of 2016 in order to help Clinton and hurt Trump?

Granted, these are private commercial enterprises. But we regulate monopolies in the electric power industry. And the blind reliance of the general public on information generated by a few search engines borders on monopoly service. Maybe its is time to regulate information utilities such as Google, to at least archive (and make available for later review) their search algorithms.

In the context of a presidential election, we limit the contributions of individuals to the candidates campaigns. We prohibit corporate contributions to individual campaigns. When you look at he FEC records of donations by individuals who work for Google or Alphabet to campaigns in 2016, it is a very lopsided distribution favoring Hillary Clinton. Any contribution excess of the individual limits is a violation of the law. Any contribution by a corporation is a violation of the law. Any in-kind contribution of services by a corporation to a candidates campaign is a violation of the law. If Google weighted its algorithm to help Hillary and Hurt Trump, that would be a prohibited in kind corporate contribution.

All the brouhaha created by the democrats insinuation a connection between the Trump campaign and Russia feigns indignation over the ide, the very idea of a foreign influence over our campaigns. How dare they! Well, what about improper domestic or corporate influence over an election?
