Yes I do. what part of politicized NASA and the national Weather Service do you not understand Lurken?

I know you know that Obama politicized them both to support Climate Change. Their Climate models and their storm tracking models have been corrupted by a desire to prove Climate Change exists, facts and people harmed be be damned.

You know I am right, so why obfuscate the point of the article?

I would welcome evidence that storm tracking models have been corrupted by a desire to prove Climate Change exists.

Has anyone blamed the norks for the hurricanes and earthquakes yet?

That is almost the exact same set up they saw when they predicted the high pressure would keep Henry from going North. So they predicted it would hit Corpus Christi, then the high pressure over Oklahoma and the plains would keep the storm system down and thus Harvey would hover inland then be forced by that pressure to head back into the Gulf where it would pick up steam in the warm waters and then slam into Corpus Christi again.

They were way off. Instead it rammed right into that high pressure wall heading North into Houston. Meanwhile Corpus Christi never got hit. All this happened within 24 hours.

So much for their models and their predictions.

If you are saying an amateur can predict it, I challenge you to tell me where Irma will go considering it’s a similar weather pattern swirling in the US as the one that was swirling there when Harvey was heading to Corpus Christi less than 24 hours before it crashed that high pressure wall.

Well, we know that the people at the agencies where all replaced by Climate Change fools, we know Climate change is a hoax, As far as I am concerned anyone who believes Climate change exists and it is because of fissile fuel has no business to be in the business of deciding who gets contracts for creating weather and climate model computers systems.

Who would you want in charge?

We all know the lies they ell and the way they shutdown anyone who disagrees with them.

Funny, my wife asked me earlier, how long will it be before they blame this on NK. LOL

I told her to give them a few weeks, and they will blame Trump for backing out of the Paris accord, and that NK Nuke tests shifted the balance at just the right time to change the strength of these.

Nothing they do, or claim ever shocks me. it just shocks me that so many on the left buy their crap hook line and sinker.

An uneducated indoctrinated generation will be the end of this country.

I’m thinking that best NK has learned how to control the weather, thanks to the Russians, funded by Eric Trump.

Hey Mika and Rac-hell ...here’s a new thing to whine about for your deplorable shows.

Well, I noticed at the time that Houston seemed to catch them by surprise, not that they showed it! They had predicted heavy flooding rains, so there was their prediction.

But Harvey was wandering. They did predict that! It was just very hard, not to say impossible, to predict all that slow motion wavering.

The other thing was that the rain in Houston was part of a “bulge”, well away from the eye. Harvey was very lopsided.

I must say that Irma is at least reminiscent of Harvey at its current stage. They’re getting this big rain squall in Miami just now, which is part of a big bulge.

But anyway, if Irma suddenly charges west across the Gulf, I’ll eat my hat ... maybe I’d better boil and salt it, just in case!

Oh, and check the NWS Key West long range weather radar. This is just about a perfect image of Irma at this stage.

On the ping post you have photo of a cross against the sky with part of an American flag in the foreground. In the ping you asked us to comment on the image, so that’s what I was doing.

OK, I am glad you like it. I have been hoping to get a good image for my pings. I have heard from many they like this one.

Thanks FRiend.

Why, is there an explanation for hurricanes in there?

What’s interesting about this thread is the cognitive dissonance between the headline and your actual piece. The headline mentions God but you don’t even bring Him up until the very end - almost as an after thought.

Also, clearly you don’t like any dissent of your post. You act as if your words are sacrosanct and you dissuade any discussion. I came to this thread thinking you would have at least demonstrated how God mad “a fool of them” but you haven’t. As I pointed out you barely even mentioned God.

If you post on FreeRepublic you should expect people to want to have a discussion not just simply accede to your opinion.

I asked others the same question because this is a discussion board. I want to hear other’s answers not just yours.

I don’t believe in AGW. I’m an outspoken critic of it. At the same I don’t believe that all the sites that are tracking storms have an AGW agenda. I think they simply aren’t capable of truly predicting the path of these storms. The same errors were made decades ago before the insanity of AGW. How would you explain those?

Well, my point is not whether or not to evacuate, my point is the computer models we are told are infallible.

Nobody has ever made the claim that the hurricane models or any other forecast models were infallible.

The NWS and NHC is ALWAYS telling people they cannot be as precise as everyone should like them to be and to follow the cone of probable landfall.

I don't know where people get the idea that any dynamic system that's in a constant state of flux can be predicted with any kind of pinpoint accuracy, but it can't. That's just the fact of the matter. There are far too many variables involved in any weather system and it is not possible to take into every single factor that might or might not be involved.

_Irma was not so bad in some areas as they expected and THANK GOD FOR THAT. On the other hand, it was worse for others in other areas than they expected.

Anyone who feels to free to criticize can go get their degree in meteorology and go tell those doing how it SHOULD be done if they want.

Well, I can see this thing getting into the warm waters of the Gulf that will build this thing up to a category 6 or 7 before hitting landfall in a place no one is prepared, and no one has a chance to get out of the way. I'm sure their goofy computer model has room for category 6 and 7 type Hurricanes.

No the *goofy* hurricane models DON't have room for a Cat 6 or 7.

Go write better models for hurricane forecasting if you think they are not adequate.

Sorry, but call me skeptical. There are a lot of weather forecasters on television who's reputation is on the line, and after the way Harvey fooled them, they cannot afford to be made to look foolish again.

Harvey fooled no one. They called Harvey right.

Here's a suggestion. Why don't you check your facts before you write a screed?

As Houston flooded, meteorologists felt helpless as their dire forecasts were realized
