The fed-up feline was photographed swimming through dirty floodwaters in Houston, Texas, by Getty photographer Scott Olson, and hes giving better side-eye than most humans.
The image, which was captured on Aug. 30, has since gone viral, with many commenting on the cats resilience in the face of the storm. Its been shared more than 65,000 times.
All the photos I've seen of dogs and horses escaping the flooding, they look terrified. This cat just looks pissed like he's going to write a sternly worded letter to his city councilor when he gets home, wrote Laura Mullane, who posted the photo to Facebook.

Kitty ping. Yes, that is one irritable kitty cat. Great picture at site.
Looks like my George. That would be his attitude also.
That’s just how cats are. If you get rough with a cat, they’ll give it right back to you.
Awww gosh, can I adopt him?
Yep. I’ve got a 17 lb. Maine coon named Thomas. The neighbor’s dog decided to take a run at him one time. Thomas is a sweet boy but that dog wound up looking like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone (Jim Croce reset!).
He landed on the hood of a car. I hope he can get to dry land & someone to take him in. So sad to see all the homeless critters as a result of Harvey!
I’d take him in in a heartbeat.
Seems like everyone is willing to ignore the fact that the cat photo was used to tell climate change deniers that they are “Lying”.
I noticed that. If I had photo-shop abilities I would edit.
I hope the photo kitty has an owner who sees or hears about the photo and can claim the cat back. Lots are probably strays though.
PING over to you!
I think I remember that video. It was in a lake, right? Cats were so cute.
Photograwhores, too obsessed with getting the pulitzer photo instead of stepping forward and saving the life of an animal or human...........They’re despicable piles of excrement!
Orange boy does NOT look amused.
Back when our house rats were young and we still had two of our Dachshunds, one of them (who now owns my sister and her family *chuckle*) got inside the driveway gate, and got somewhat cornered by one of our diminutive canines. Bad idea on the dog’s part. I’ve never seen such a display of Cat Fu in my life. I tried to stop them, but Pooch tried to bull rush this kitten, who was half his size. This cat gave him some sort of double-inverted roundhouse kick that literally knocked him 360 degrees and six feet back. Of course, our dog was never one to give up, but the in next charge his snout met the Paws Of Fury. He finally had enough and ran back in the dog door. And stayed there.
It looks like he was pissed at the photographer who was taking his picture instead of helping him out of the water.
Thanks for the pic. LOL
Hope he gets a good home.
Laz might adopt him. :)
