When Aaron Rodgers his friend, college football-watching buddy and amateur plumber called him an idiot on Saturday afternoon from beneath his kitchen sink, well, Dekker had to agree with the two-time NFL MVP.
Ive actually fixed my own garbage disposal before. Theres incredible tutorials on YouTube, Rodgers said. So I did that at one point. Fixed it.
Sam, he just got traded to L.A., I was hanging out with him Saturday. He was having some sink issues, asked for my help. Hes 23 years old. I know hes engaged and taking the next step to being an adult, but hes not quite there yet. So I went under the sink.
What the tutorial told me was to test the switch first, (and then) what kind of rumble you hear or lack of rumble tells you whats going on with the garbage disposal. So, I flipped the switch and nothing happened. (That) means two things: One, its completely broken and it needs to be changed out, or two, its not plugged in.
And?
It wasnt plugged in, Rodgers said with a laugh. So, thats the picture of me holding the plug as I call him from the other room, and said, Hey, idiot, it wasnt plugged in.
Hes learning.

Greatest QB in NFL history.
I’m a cheese head! Born and raised!
“Greatest QB in NFL history.” Nope!
Nope... Tom Brady has that all wrapped up.
Ha!! YouTube is a godsend for any kind of repair that you need to do.
Meh. Coaching and teammates have a bit to do with Brady’s rings. He’s top 10 for sure, if not top 5 . Rings and greatest QBs are correlation. Not causation.
All other things on the field equal, there a plenty of guys I would consider taking. Place Marino, Montana, Manning, Elway or Rodgers on the Patriots for the past 18 years and I bet they would have just as much success.
One of the greats? For sure. Greatest. Naw.
Some other good contenders, Elway and Peyton for example.
I might have a tough time settling on the absolute best, among these truly great QB talents.
How the heck can a football player fit under a sink, when I can barely do that?
Yeah... very tough call, but I go with Brady based on Super Bowls, longevity, QB ratings, etc.
Naw...not really.
The most recent Super Bowl tends to make your point.
As a Cheesehead, I will say that Aaron is 1A in the greatest QB of now...Tom Brady is 1...
I know this is a humorous bit, but...
A Garbage disposal? really? Like that’s hard?
Most guys could replace or fix one in their sleep.
libertylover's 2nd Law of Troubleshooting: change only 1 thing then see if that fixes it, (not 6 changes).
libertylover's 3rd Law of Troubleshooting: if a function was operating normally before you started working on it, and now it's not, there's a very good chance that you caused it. Even if you're first thought is "no way I did that", you just haven't figured out yet HOW you caused it.
If the disposal is plugged in, the next check is to confirm that the thermal breaker switch on the motor is not tripped.
1970s Air force Technical School training: Before starting the troubleshooting; Lamp Check, Fuse Check,Circuit breaker check.
At home I added: Step 1. Check to see if the unit is plugged in.
Air Force Technical School. Chanute perhaps?
Sheppard.
Any male that can’t “fix” a garbage disposal needs to surrender their man card to the nearest plumber.
I would add Tony Romo and Russell Wilson to that list. The mark of a great quarterback is providing consistent results despite not having a quality offensive line. I love Dallas and Seattle but their O-lines have been lackluster to say the least. In spite of this, both Romo and Wilson have put up impressive stats.
