A looters paradise.
My nephew’s family in Central FL is debating bugging out and heading to our place (KY) for the duration. He’s thinking he will decide tonight after dinner. It’s difficult to decide what to do, we were in the same boat in 2005 when we lived in Florida. We bugged out for one of the four hurricanes that fall. What a nightmare. So we stayed for the next one - Florida sucks when it is warm and humid and you have no power for 5 days.
Had just enough damage (without leaks) to get insurance to replace the roof - after the hurricane deductible of course. That was enough for us. 5 months later we put the house up for sale and left. Never moving back there.
People are getting PLENTY of warning.
The crazy old buzzard that thinks he can ride it out in his shack, can get bent. Dont risk anyone’s life to “save” these people.
When is the left going to mention the word “karma” and the fact that Trump won Florida’s 29 electoral votes?
Another misleading headline. The MSM is starting to sound like tabloid trash.
Maybe it would come as a surprise to some but Florida is largely a peninsula surrounded on three sides by large bodies of water so “getting out” is reduced to an all-night drive up to Georgia or getting on an airplane.
They sound like the woman who looks at the male during a crisis moment and yells “do something!” Well, that’s great advice but it means little without more specifics.
Irma go nutz on you....
We gonna evacuate Florida? Do Alabama and Georgia know about this?
We got a sturdy house, but we might leave and visit relatives in Connecticut...
