Fine with me, keeps him messing around in the Star Wars universe instead of the Star Trek universe. Abrams can just regurgitate 75% of the scenes in Empire Strikes Back and Wars fans will have orgasms over the movie and claim its the GREATEST THING EVER and the MUST SEE MOVIE OF THE YEAR (as they claimed with Episode I (1999), II (2002), III (2005), and VII (2015) ...)
Meanwhile Trek fans can hope for something actually original and thought-provoking. Not likely we'll get it, but without Abrams, there is A NEW HOPE for Star Trek!
