This blogger is an ace re storms Harvey and Irma, but I don't know if his theory that solar flares/earthquakes are related has any validity. He's issued a prediction/warning and bases it partially on two prior solar flares of note.
His prediction: "So expect major quakes 18 hrs later @ 5PM Pacific Time and 8PM Eastern Time on Tuesday, 9/5/17."

Guess that would be 7 p.m. Central Time.
Sounds pretty wacky. I better ping Nully!

That would be 9AM my time on Wednesday morning. We’ll see. I await with bated breath.
Pity those living in the ring of fire.

Looks a lil bit like Hawaii.
Might be a fat boy man made quake?

Saw sunspots this past weekend through a pair of solar binoculars.
Attendant guesstimated them as 4x size of the Earth as measured across.
Interesting stuff.

With that in mind, here again is the latest sunspot activity...

Earth is the tiny dark blue dot just below the much larger light blue disk, which is either Uranus or Neptune.

Solar flares are as unrelated to earthquakes as is the weather.

Did you notice man’s influence on solar weather patterns?
Me neither...

I don’t buy the earthquake angle, but I hope this is why the S.F. Bay area is over 100 degrees, and I hope those assclowns bake some more so they can stew over Trump and “climate change”

And then it will take 24 hrs. or longer to effect the earth seismically. Never appears to be an immediate reaction.

Solar flares are as unrelated to earthquakes as is the weather. I hope so
Seems that the Sun's magnetic field is in decline
so less sunspots
last time there were not many sunspots the Earth experienced a mini ice age, 1450 to 1750.

There is no reason to rule out that sunspot activity can effect the climate, however. Sunspots represent a failure of convection to bring the sun’s interior heat to the surface. With the sun radiating slightly less heat, the earth will also cool slightly. The “Maunder Minimum” was a time of unusually low sunspot activity lasting almost a century. If this is a cyclical event, then we are currently at a maximum where temperatures will increase instead of decrease.
