She’s faking.

Kosher is about a lot more than not eating pork products. There is also a prohibition of food cooked without the supervision of a Jew. Cookng and eating utensils that have been in contact with non-kosher food are forbidden to use.

She has a sentimental attachment to the idea of not eating pork. She does not keep kosher.

If Denny’s lawyer has a brain he or she will point that out. If you and I, who are not experts, know that, surely someone in that law firm will.

Exactly. If she was so hung up on how her meal was prepared she’d have had a rabbi with her; then too, going to a Denny’s in the first place? Did she know that bacon would be fried on the same surface as her non-pork omelet?
