The Second Civil War (Vol. 4)

The Ministers of Propaganda (Part 1 of 2)

Due to recent events in Texas, Louisiana and potential foreign entanglements, this volume of the Second Civil War Chronicles was moved ahead of what was intended. More on that later. Instead, I thought it more important to address the primary purveyors of enemy propaganda (a.k.a fake news) these days…

…us.

That's right - I said it. Real Americans fighting for liberty and freedom too often, unknowingly promote lies of the enemy, and give credibility to the liars - in many cases more than the liars themselves. I will provide details below. My hope in this feature is for the reader, the warrior in you to look within yourself, and put this war in a more focused direction. But before the eye-rolling starts, a little on my vocational background.

I've spent about 20 years in media in various forms: Web, radio, television (both sides of the microphone and camera), print - and other forms as well. I have sat in on morning news meetings in media outlets that are household names. I have been a fan of media since childhood. In high school, my favorite class was Mass Media, as was the woman who taught the class. You'll see some of her quotes that have stayed with me in this article. While many studied the battle history of the revolutionary Founding Fathers of the 18th Century, I studied the Committees of Correspondence; just as an important weapon as the musket. Propaganda, dis-information, and informational war tactics have been around as long as wars have been fought. Warriors often say "… the first casualty of war is the truth". Nothing can be truer in this engagement we are in. The challenge becomes: How to we counter it? How can it be defeated?

I'll start here: The two most frustrating words I hear or read from media/bloggers/reporters from our side is not 'fake news'. That comes in second place to the phrase that should never leave the lips of the Real American: "mainstream media".

This institution mentioned above, is one whose survival exists on a) the incestuous relationship with government/elitists, b) the ability and willingness to quote like-minded institutions regardless of the veracity of the information and c) the fact they are giving so much respect and credibility - even by those who don't believe a thing they report. This is your so-called "media" in the nutshell. And the fact is, they are anything but "mainstream". They have long lost the respect and believability of the majority of the American public.

As of the time of this writing, living proof of this fact resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Remember that landslide presidential victory all forecasted by these people? Remember the information assaults on the Current White House Occupant 17 months prior? See the end results? Good. Keep reading.

Too many of us spend too much time posting and reading links of enemy propaganda. Like in the old days of a newspaper clipping, by handing that information off to others, you help give it credibility since you consumed this information, and want others (your peers) to do so as well. How often do we pass around news links from the National Enquirer? Yet I see institutions that have been proven less credible than that well know super-market tabloid have links to their stories referenced by our side as near gospel.

Even if we're making jokes about it, how does it serve our overall purpose? We already know their agenda. Do we consume enemy information just to make us furious, or is this just some sick addiction of ours?

Calling the Cable News Network (CNN) "fake news" is an insult to the word "news". They, like their cable news counterparts at MSNBC and FoxNews stopped delivering news long ago. Here's the first quote from my mass media teacher from long ago. "…We watch news to see how a media outlet covers the stories that we already know about…". For the most part, we do not watch news for information, but for the reaction to the known story. In other words, it's not news - its entertainment.

As for print, I gave up on the New York Times during the Jason Blair escapade (no, I'm not providing a link - google it). The Washington Post is a literal encyclopedia of bad journalism. We've lost count of the number of their un-named sources for blockbuster articles (read: clickbait). I mention these two institutions along with the Associated Press as the Triad of the American Oracle. Your local television and print information peddlers in the major American markets feed from, and into this leviathan. They quote from the triad and from each other. And for years up until recent, got away with calling it news.

These days, streaming and social media audiences dwarf the market share they once dominated. Their audience is dwindling fast; in real demographics it can be said their audience is 'dying off'. Hence, like the enemy, they too are desperate. In 2010, they could not stop the rise of the Tea Party. In 2016, they failed at placing their second Manchurian candidate in the White House, but they have successfully intimidated Congress - so far. They are also the promoters and cover for our violent, black-clad adversaries. This is one of the flanks on the battlefield of this war being waged by the enemy. Fighting back is not an option. It will be required for our long term survival. This cloak of cover for the enemy must be removed.

The first battle we must win to fight back against the endless propaganda is to mentally stop accepting it as news ourselves. By doing so, what is reported or commented by them does not anger us. We stay focused while they become more enraged. Then we stop peddling their information for them, as if we are trying to convince our peers of what liars they are, or the state of affairs that we are in. We don't need any more proof. Whenever a see a CNN, MSNBC Washington Post, or NYT article, I simply move on to the next story. If any of the above mentioned outlets are providing useful information I need, there's a good chance I have already received it from a more credible source (probably my own eyes or ears). Again: stop promoting their propaganda - this is key.

A little story from back in the day: As I told you, I've sat in news rooms for morning meetings. I recall the person in charge deliberately ordering a news report to be crafted to upset conservatives. The exact words were "…This [slant of reporting] should really piss off the hayseeds!". I asked a colleague later in the meeting what was the point in making what should have been a down the middle story such a slanted view point. I'll never forget the answer:

"…by making the report anti-conservative, the morning talk show host will probably comment on it, get people angry, and they'll come to the site to bitch about it. We get the audience, yet still control the narrative…"

Let that sink in real good.

Some of you are thinking "why did you not stand up to this?" The same reason many other Real Americans in news rooms across the country who have witnessed events like these don't stand up: It's a job. We have to pay bills. We follow orders (Project Veritas proved this in undercover CNN videos). And as stated in a previous article, one of the reasons I'm not in media anymore. I've seen more than my share of so called news where the story is written long before anyone is quoted. Any quotes gathered as I was told were only used to fit the overall narrative. Consider most of what you see on television 'news' and a glorified screenplay where actors use their real names. It exists to maintain an audience, direct a narrative, and please advertisers. That's the business model (more pearls of wisdom from my mass media teacher). What is NOT part of the business model? Honestly, pointing out hypocrisy, telling both sides of the story, including all the key facts, and correcting erroneous reporting. You may think it's supposed to be that way, but then again, some of you still think the Second Civil War hasn't started yet. Go listen to Don Henley's 1982 song 'Dirty Laundry' for background on how the media works.

And ironically, if you want to see a good example of a dangerous media propaganda campaign in action, go find a 1997 HBO's so-called comedy movie entitled, "The Second Civil War". Prophetic as the movie may seem, it gives you a pretty good glimpse of the informational warfare we're dealing with today.

What we need are more SITREPS (military term - look it up), and less opinions enemy sound bites and/or quotes disguised and news, used to fill air time.

The information I seek and move along in this warfront is informational, instructional, or motivational to the cause. Pop Quiz Example: What would you consider more relevant information?

Civil War II hasn’t started yet.
You’ll know when it does.

This isn’t CWII. The enemy of the state here is a mosquito...a pesky fly.

The silent majority—the Deplorables—have spoken in reaction to Hurricane Harvey. And the nation has taken note of what they have said.

There won’t be a second civil war. At least not any time soon.

Where are the lines? Who is going to fight it? What side will the army and marines ping to be on?

Will the “militia” be taking on the military with our AR15s against Bradleys and A10s.

This is doom porn.

The answer to your last question is “B”.

b) Public School Teachers Behind Violent Antifa Group :

We will never win if we continue to allow the godless government K-12 schools to be funded. They are, and always have been, a socialist entitlement. They were a progressive idea from the beginning. They have always been run by progressives. Progressives have always controlled teacher training and curriculum development. The Deep State guiding the schools today is thoroughly Marxist and godless in its leadership.
