Civil War II hasn’t started yet.
You’ll know when it does.

I think that's a very naïve comment. CWII has been going full-blast for at least three decades. Propaganda and political maneuvering always precede the shooting. Think about the continuing Leftist attempts to disarm Americans. The fact that we still have guns and the ability to use them has probably been a big deciding factor preventing a full government clamp-down on civil liberties.

Political attempts to stop free speech, control the internet, indoctrinate kids from kindergarten through college with anti-American beliefs, the use of racism, genderism, and other "isms," to further disunify the country, the pressure to allow as many illegal aliens in as possible to increase the number of Democrat voters are all preliminary parts of the coming shooting war.

I applaud jimjohn for his efforts to alert people to the media role in this build-up. I keep seeing stories posted here from ultra-liberal sources like the San Jose Mercury-News, the Sacramento Bee, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and those jimjohn mentions and wonder why we're giving the enemy such a big megaphone to spread lies and distortions.

As an old media hand myself, I can verify what jimjohn says. I worked in print and advertising and know that both are dependent on and do the bidding of advertisers. And these days advertisers usually have political agendas that aren't in the best interest of the rest of us.

With the exception of a few influential opinion writers/talking heads, don't necessarily blame reporters for what's printed and broadcast. That blame goes far up the ladder, past editors and directors to publishers, network owners and the powerful puppet-masters who pull their strings.
