Wow, thanks for the link — it showed “the rest of the story”. Why the hell would they even be interested in drawing blood from an innocent victim of a traffic accident caused by an individual being pursued by the cops?

Years ago in WV, if it became known that a man was beating his wife, a certain group ofr citizens would send a message. A bundle of switches would be left at night at the front door for the man to find in the morning. It meant, “We know what you’re doing. Stop, or WE will deal with you.”....and it was well known that they would.

It has been viewed over 15 million times. The officer is a little long in the tooth. Someone was up to no good. I believe he was told to get in there and get that blood, no matter how, just get it.

>>They should be in the lockup for their conspiracy to commit Felony Kidnapping.

This is exactly what should happen. I’ll be shocked if it does.

I suppose according to this creep cop, he should be able to collect evidence in other ways too...like maybe he himself doing a rape exam on an unconscious female rape victim....

They were not trying to take the blood test. They were on a fishing expedition, using illegal tacticts, hopin g to find drugs/ alcohol in the truck driver’s blood to hinder his ability to sue.

Power corrupts. If bad cops don’t wise up, the public at some point will respond appropriately.

But what about the "good" cops? You know, the ones who perform their job to the best of their ability and training but either look the other way or refuse to break the Blue Wall of Silence WRT the malfeasance of others.

This is where the "Us against Them" mentality comes in....."Us" being LEO and "Them" being the citizenry. IMO, this is what will cause the responce you speak of and it ain't gonna be pretty.

Agreed, 1000%. It happens waaaay too often, and the citizenry has had more than enough of it.

"And the police officers won’t be charged, convicted, spend prison time, pay damages instead of tax payers?"

One would hope, but it is not as probable.

Suing them personally probably would serve to cool the jets of any other over zealous cops with bullying tendencies.

The armed citizens in this locality could make this right.

I would have definitely been arrested had I been there and saw what was happpening to that nurse.
Makes me very angry to watch that thug handcuff her.
Heck of a strong nurse there; she stood firm while a bunch of male pussies stood by and let her be abused

I think that's exactly what they were doing. The Police station that the victim served as a reserve officer knew it too. That's why they issued this statement.

“The Rigby Police Department would like to thank the nurse involved and hospital staff for standing firm and protecting Officer Gray’s rights as a patient and victim. Protecting the rights of others is truly a heroic act.”

Dead wrong.

Because if the citizens where this happened keep being stupid enough to elect officials that install law enforcement personnel this inept and violently out of control then only the names will change. They will keep hiring the same type of people.

The people in charge have to feel the hurt, and whether you understand it or not the people in charge are the voters.

How would they fake the blood test?

The guy is in the burn ward. Burns are extremely painful and so people with burns are generally drugged to the gills ASAP.

They would not have to fake the test.

All they would have to do is say that his test showed signs of drugs in his system and leave out the part that the drugs were there because the hospital had administered them.

It would allow them to hint that the crash was the victim's fault. It would ruin his life but it would create "reasonable doubt" regarding the role played by the police in his injuries.
