You stole the money. Don’t try to blame anyone other than yourself, or someone will think you’re a specially-privileged government-certified minority group member.

No, she was given the money.
And when she told them about it they didn't, apparently, take it back.
After a bit she regarded it as hers and started to spend it.

South Africa? I’m shocked, utterly shocked.

She has a bright future in government.

Unaccountable 27-year old accountant students means the country’s not sending their best people...

I got it, but I’ll bet 90% here don’t. ;-)

Accounting major. Who didn’t give back the money after discovering the error. Good luck getting a job.

The accountancy student...Oh dear. I'm guessing this person will not exactly be fighting off job offers at accounting firms.

I would spend not more than half on a fast car, a bike or two, keep the rest for maintenance and a better carport.

You can tell she's an idiot. She only went through £50,000 in two months. Me being the adult I am, would have burned through the whole wad in a week. Along with a plane ticket to another country ;-)

Lol.
Reminds me of the time a friend of mine found extra money in her account. She quickly spent it for fear that the bank might claim it back.
Of course, she had to return the money and she was out several hundred dollars. Not completely, she had a fun spending spree at her own expense.
