An Indiana elementary school teacher stirred controversy after sending a letter home to parents asking them to tell their children not to talk about God in the classroom.
An unnamed first-grade teacher at McCordsville Elementary School sent a letter home to parents on Aug. 23 saying a group of about five students had mentioned the words God, Jesus and Devil during a conversation in class, and that it wasnt the appropriate place to be holding a theological debate.

Kelly is also whit per her Facebook page. And is probably not the one as it looks like she got married over the summer and has wedding pics all over her Facebook page
Teacher Kelly also has bible verses on her FB page so she may not be popular with Ms Unnamed.
If children are allowed to freely talk to each other about anything at all, then God , Jesus and the Devil need to be included.
But talking about Earth worship will be encouraged.
I bet if they had been talking about Allah and Islam it would have been AOK.
I am surprised she hasn’t been ID’d yet.
My four year old grandson, a christian school pre kindergartner, has some intriguing conversations about God and heaven. The latest is how can goldfish go to heaven if they get flushed in the potty when they die. Not a deep theological discussion, but a discussion none the less.
“they have the freedom to say things as long as its not disruptive to the environment”
Sounds like they are going to side with the teacher.
Go to the school board meeting, and tell them to tell the school, “ Order the school to deal with the teacher or we will recall all of you”
Yet talking about “girls with penises” is appropriate philosophical debate for first graders???
Hitlery Rotten Clinton's globalist village seeks to subvert parental authority. Teachers now tell children their parents are bigots, racists, sexists, and stupid or "wrong" on global warming. They believe in superstitious men in the clouds.
And it is absolutely wrong an unconstitutional for the schools to push atheism this way. The no god god is a religious worldview too.
Another Reason to Homeschool.
How long before ON LINE schools become the norm???
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
There is no religiously neutral.
She's promoting the atheistic viewpoint, a theological position and FORCING it on these kids.
I'm not.
That's the teacher's viewpoint. You have to consider that most liberals can only debate on this level.
She needs to be yanked out of there SO fast! This is totally uncalled for.
Find a parent who complained, I am sure we will know.
A Democrat for sure. Voted for Hillary no doubt
