The William Golding novel is being adapted once again, this time by a male writing-directing duo. Warner Bros. is planning a gender-bent adaptation of the iconic William Golding novel Lord of the Flies.
Scott McGehee and David Siegel will write and direct the new take on the story, which follows a group of young boarding school students that end up stranded on an island and devolve into pre-pubescent savages over the course of the novel. Harry Hook directed a 1990 version of the story, while a 1963 feature was helmed by Peter Brook.

I understand now what it meant but I still hate those books I read.
At such a young age we were full of the joy of life, happy and enjoying the fun of youth. I never have felt those ‘lessons’ were of any use whatsoever except to cause me disgust and depression as I read them.
I especially hated the Red Pony.
I still harbor a resentment of that whole thinking process of the academia. Forced to put into my mind these just awful things, more like poison than art.

We get to watch women behave like men. But the 80 pound ninja women on shows like Arrow take rooms full of guys out in six blows without breathing hard or losing their makeup. The male heroes can’t win a fight and often lay on the ground being pummeled in the face. It is just horrible the feminist drivel that passes for television.
Sounds like yet another box office winner.
I remember reading some Shakespeare as a kid and hating it. But after rereading his plays as a young adult, I enjoyed them. I still hate Titus Andronicus though. Haha!
The Lord of the Flies is also a book that illustrates the importance of parents and the necessity of strong families in the raising of boys.
A society without its foundation built around the strong traditional family is a society destined to degenerate in to the model that the book shows us.
And that is the society our Leftist Democrats is trying to build; a Godless society in which the government replaces the family.

Apparently statistics show that a gay man couple is much more enduring than a lesbian couple.
Lesbians can get quite violent with each other. I had a young lesbian staff member working in my office who discovered her girlfriend had another girlfriend and there was an enormous amount of rage emanating from my worker.
She eventually had to leave due to being totally dysfunctional.
The Left sees it as an instruction manual.
I always liked Shakespeare. We did read that too.
Actually, this makes quite a bit of sense. Women are capable of far more savagery than men. I believe this is probably a more accurate depiction Fielding’s novel than a bunch of la-di-da boys.

Yes, all of their rhetoric is about how they want to protect the weak in socity from the strong and yet all of their policies do the exact opposite.
They want to take firearms away from the law abiding and leave them at the mercy of those who would never obey the law.
The constantly write law that puts more power in the hands of government (how much stronger does government need to be) and takes it away from parents.
Yet another Hollyweird bomb.
"WOMEN" ?
The book is about boys from around the age of 6 to 12 or 13.
They are well educated, well looked after, very privileged ( except for Piggy ), used to VERY structured lives, who are, all of a sudden, set adrift...sans, parents, sans teachers, sans rules, sans safety, and it all takes place in the 1940s or early 1950s!
If this gets transposed to today, with little girls, and we're supposed to believe ( if the story line follows the book )that today's girls would know about parliamentary procedures, Robert's Rules, spear fishing and/or hunting, devolve into a wild, tribal ( along with face painting ) savages, with only one of them "soft" enough to worry and/or take care of the little ones, that's way beyond anything believable! And besides which, it just isn't going to work in any way at all.
