No way, this fight is so publicized that it has to last for a while........How many rounds? I don't know but if it's lights out for McGregor in the first round, there will never be another fight like this one.........
My prediction on McGregor’s strategy: Because of the difficulty of McGregor landing hits on Mayweather, McGregor will try to push Mayweather, and then try to hit him as he is off-balance or falling.
The MMA guys are very good at trying to get their opponents off balance for example with a kick and then use that opportunity to try for a knock-out strike.
Whether McGregor can land hits with this strategy will depend on how the fight is refereed. If it is refereed very strictly, then probably a boring fight with Mayweather dancing around and slipping punches and winning on a decision like so many of his other fights.
If McGregor lands a KO punch after a push that puts Mayweather off balance, and he is not disqualified, Mayweather and the boxing people will scream.
But the controversy would generate huge interest in another lucrative McGregor-Mayweather II.
Wouldn’t be the first PPV to end quickly. I say Mayweather KO Round 1.

Tough fight for Conor though, if Mayweather doesn’t win it’s probably worked.
It wasn't for the lack of Holmes trying to take him out. Cobb just got the hell kicked out of him. So bad that Howard Cosell said that he wouldn't do another boxing match. This proclamation led to one of greatest comments ever uttered by a boxer: "Until I discover the cure for cancer, this will have to be my greatest contribution to mankind." Randy Cobb wasn't a good boxer but he was one of the funniest ever.

well, i hardly ever comment on these things, but i was a grappler in hs, and there is a form of stand up wrestling, it’s called greco-roman.
if i were the wrestler, i’d neutralize the boxer early by tying up his hands arms and head using that style. when he’s gassed out (assuming the wrestler is conditioned normally for a wrestler, i.e., can go all day) i’d finish the boxer who could no longer punch.
Yes it’s fixed. It’s fixed by one of the competitors being one of best pound for pound (defensive) boxers in history being up against what amounts to an amateur boxer. The whole fight is a farce and a circus.
