Baseball legend Hank Aaron said he won't watch any NFL games this season because of how the league treated former quarterback Colin Kaepernick after Kaepernick's national anthem protest last season drew widespread scrutiny.

Is there any reason to have NFL football? From my perspective-—absolutely NO.
It looks like a win/win to me.
The Henry Aaron types are boycotting NFL because Kaepernick was not hired for his leftist antics.
The Patriot types are boycotting NFL because Kaepernick disparages the flag.
My usage of the word "tribe" was intended metaphorically, not literally. You and I belong to the conservative "tribe", and Clinton and Obama belong to the liberal "tribe."
People's "tribe" is what they perceive it to be.
I won’t recognize Hank Aaron as the batting champ because of how the fences at Fulton County Stadium were treated (and how many thousands of amphetamines he took)
Hank Who.
But Hank Aaron has no problems with how some NFL players treat women and the NFL does little or nothing to them.
Now I don’t feel so bad that his home run record was broken by some mutant freak on steroids.
Aha! It all makes sense. A very shrewd move—but not sufficient to overcome Bonds’ steroid advantage.
1. He never hit 50 home runs in a season, which is remarkable for a guy who finished his career with 755 home runs. It says a lot about his longevity as well as his consistency.
2. He had a higher lifetime batting average (.305) than Pete Rose (.303).
3. He would have more than 3,000 hits for his career (3,016 to be exact) even if you subtracted his 755 home runs from his career hit total.
I'll try. If you stop hearing from me, you'll know why.
So what and who cares?
If Kap could play worth a BLEEP, some team would hire him and put up with his prima donna crap. But they won’t pay all that money for a crappy player AND a phony political showoff.
Does Hank Aaron's announcement indicate that he shares Kaepernick's disrespect for America? It certainly implies that is the case.
instead choosing to kneel in what he called a protest against police oppression of people with color.
Does Hank Aaron share Kaepernick's perception that the police oppress black people and a display of disrespect for the American Flag and the National Anthem will improve that perception?
I don't believe there is a connection between someone's perception that the police oppress black people and the Nation's Anthem.
Comparing Barbara Streisands musical accomplishments with her politics would be comparing lighting to a lighting bug. The same is true when comparing Hank Aaron's baseball accomplishments with his politics.
Who cares what he watches?
Right action, wrong reason.
Never like Hank Aaron. Like Kareem Jabbar, just another angry black guy, always brooding, always biter, never grateful to this great nation.
Join the crowd Hark.
Many of us won’t be watching either.
But for the opposite reason.
I meant to say never “liked” and always “bitter”.
So he was a bitter hitter
Hank, nobody cares whether you watch NFL or not. Get a grip
