Chelsea Manning is making her Vogue debut. The former U.S. Army intelligence analyst, who served time in prison for leaking classified documents, will be featured in the magazine's September issue.
She was photographed by the renowned Annie Leibovitz, who has taken pictures of President Barack Obama, Queen Elizabeth II, John Lennon, Michael Jackson and Caitlyn Jenner.
Manning was convicted in 2013 for leaking reams of material to WikiLeaks. She was sentenced to 35 years in military prison but was released in May. Obama commuted her sentence days before he left office.

Unless there is some way to alter the genetic makeup of a person, IE, their chromosomes, I will never understand why supposedly educated people will believe one can change their “sex”.

WHy is it wrong to objectify women but important to objective trans? It would be wrong to feature Carly Fiorina in a swimsuit while profiling her impact on public life. Yet there’s this push to show Jenner and Manning in come hither poses as if to say, “You KNOW you want me!” Uhmmm...no we don’t. At once saying “Stay out of my private life! What I do with my body is my business!” and at the same time, “Look at my body and desire me! If you don’t you are a bigot!”
