Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the new home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC set to open later this month, will feature a Chick-fil-A concession stand. One problem for hungry Falcons fans: just like all Chick-fil-A locations, the stand will be closed on Sundays.

Someone didn’t think ahead.
With Closed on Sundays, the locations seems rather poor choice. Especially if people continue boycotting because of unpatriotic players.
In an NFL stadium. It’s all about branding.
Standing on principle!
Between the pre-season and regular season, I imagine that the NFL would be playing there a total of perhaps 10 or so times per year (there are games on days other than Sundays), so assumably there are other events held there which would make having a stand worth while.
Will the anti-first amendmenters trash it on Sundays like they do the others?
Exactly. It’s not the “Atlanta Falcons Stadium”, it’s the”Mercedes Benz Stadium”. The Falcons rent the place a dozen or so days a year.

Does Mercedes-Benz still have naming rights on the Superdome?
I thought I heard that Popeye’s bought them.
It appears that they do. The “official” website calls it the “Mercedes-Benz Superdome”.
Oh yeah
ALL Chik Fil A restaurants are closed on Sunday. They do just fine
Not true. There are plenty of other events that are held at that venue
It’s only a big deal because the snooty folks like to make fun of Chik Fil A
It is not only an NFL venue
There are plenty of other things that go on there. The location will do just fine
I am sure it was mentioned in a contractual agreement somewhere.
Will there be enough business from other events?
A Chic Fil A restaurant is practically a license to print money. All of them are closed on Sunday. They are everywhere around here and I’ve never seen one that didn’t have a line at the drive thru. I also think being the only thing in the place closed on Sunday will be good advertising for CFA.
That venue has lots of things going on at it not just pro football
Now’s the time for my get-rich-quick scheme to go into effect:
1. I buy hundreds of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches on Saturday.
2. I warm them and sell them at a considerable to desperate Chick-Fil-A junkies on Sunday.
3. ....
4. Profit!
I call my enterprise: “Chick-Fil-Later”
