Hotel with separate gay toilet icon causes uproar [Cavallino, Lecce, Italy]

An Italian toilet icon in southern Italy has upset the LGBT community.

A hotel establishment in Cavallino near the southern Italian city of Lecce has created a storm with its unusual toilet icons, three to be precise; a woman, a man, and a “gay” man.

“The word had been covered up but somebody decided to uncover it and make it visible again,” the owner told Il Quotidiano. The owner said the extra icon would be painted over.

It had been there since the previous administration, according to the current owner, who stressed that there was no intention to discriminate, according to Repubblica. It was not instantly clear how the discriminatory icon had been placed there in the first place. …

My first thought would be that someone just created one and put it up there, but I have come to recognize that the pandering to homosexuality by industry crosses lines I never thought would happen.

This sign created a stir in a town near me just a few years back...

Apparently, the town had been expecting some expansion and erected this sign on a nearby interstate, but in 2009 the economy tanked and this sign they put up on the highway never had anything added to it.

It sat there blank for years, until some enterprising jokester put his own sticker on it...I laughed when I saw it, I could only imagine some of the conversations in cars with husband and wife...

What if you identify as a scotty dog? Because there is no icon, does that mean you cannot use the restroom without temporarily repudiating your chosen “gender identity or expression”?

Normally, I would fully expect that sign to be photoshopped, but no more. The insanity of liberals knows no bounds, so I expect that is a picture of an actual sign.
