I’m guessing Jerry and the commish, who he defended over the phony deflategate putsch, are not going to be on friendly terms.
Bet it gets cut down to two games, when it’s all said and done.
When the Cowboys are 4-10.
Well, he’ll be fresh for the stretch run...
...
It worked for Tom Brady, but Brady was railroaded.
It all sounds complicated. Wheels within wheels ...
SO...what did he do again????
Hey, hey, it’s the NPFL. National Progressive Football League.
Elliott will be lucky to finish 6 years in the NFL before he does something really stupid. Not the sharpest tack in the drawer.
No worries. They still have McFadden, Hillman and Morris. And Zeke will still get a 1,000 yard season.
A thug is a thug even if in the NFL.
Martavis Bryant of the Steelers just got re-instated late Wednesday. He smoked dope and was suspended for a year and has not been re-instated until Wednesday so on top of the year suspension, he’s missed half of training camp.
Now, I’m not an advocate of smoking dope, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s a minor crime and look how long it took for the Steelers to get him back. Goodell is out of control IMO.
Half the NFL are probably felons and they go after this guy?
Under Goodell, suspensions are based if they are Goodell’s special teams. Players from New England, Baltimore, and Seattle, will get less suspensions. Dallas is in the middle group, so they get middle suspensions. If Elliot were on the Patriots or Seahawks, he could have only gotten two weeks suspension.
But, first and foremost, Goodell is property of Robert Kraft.
Another Urban Meyer thug. See Aaron Hernandez.
Racist NFL!!! < /sarc >
Roid Rage.
On May 18, 2016, Elliott signed his four-year rookie contract reportedly worth $24.9 million with a $16.3 million signing bonus.[31]
2016 season
Elliott was named the Dallas Cowboys' starting running back going into the regular season, ahead of veterans Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden. In his professional debut, he had 20 rushing attempts for 51 rushing yards and scored his first career touchdown on an 8-yard run against the New York Giants. The following game against the Washington Redskins, Elliott had 21 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown but also fumbled twice, losing one of them. In a Week 3 matchup against the Chicago Bears, he posted his first game with over a hundred yards and finished Dallas' second consecutive victory with 30 rushing attempts for 140 rushing yards. On October 9, 2016, Elliott helped his team defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 2814 and rushed for 134 yards on 15 attempts and scored two rushing touchdowns, including a 60-yard touchdown. The next week the Cowboys played the Green Bay Packers, and Elliott continued his four-game streak with over a hundred yards after carrying the ball 28 times for 157 rushing yards.[32]

NFL statement
Over the course of the last year, the league conducted an extensive investigation. League investigators interviewed more than a dozen witnesses, including Ms. Tiffany Thompson, who had alleged multiple instances of physical violence in July 2016, and Mr. Elliott. The league also consulted with medical experts. League investigators examined all available evidence, including photographic and digital evidence, thousands of text messages and other records of electronic communications.
Sit down these unpatriotic players around the league.
Be consistent! The NFL is doomed. jerks.
