Melania, Ivanka and Ivana Trump Wear High Heels, a Symbol of Everything(tr)

Theres been no rest for the wicked just a week into President Donald Trumps 17-day vacation, what with our late-summer flirtation with nuclear war. But the women in the Trump clan seem to have been able to kick back. Given the dearth of photographic evidence otherwise, perhaps they have finally been able to put their feet up.
This hiatus allows us to reflect on a minor Trumpian trend to which the nation has become accustomed since January: the ubiquitous stiletto pump. The vertiginous spike-heel shoe is not currently in fashion, but for Ivana, Ivanka, Melania and the Trump daughters-in-law, Carrie Bradshaws shoe of choice never went out of style. In fact, the female consorts of the Leader of the Free World do not set foot in public without first molding their arches into the supranatural curve that Mattel toy designers once devised for Barbies plastic feet.
Six months in, and the Trump women are well on their way to normalizing the footwear of the beauty pageant. The Cinderella shoe fitted on the feet of all the Miss Teen USAs and Miss Universes who ever beamed under the Trumpian gaze in contests of yore also is the shoe that average women can bear for only a few hours at weddings or proms, before casting them off, moaning and rubbing their soles.

Insufferable Libtards.
They are so jealous.
They have Hillary Cankles and Debbie Mayonaise Hair to admire and we have The Trumps.

I can no longer wear high heels due to a knee problem. But I still wear a mid-heel because I think it just looks nicer than a flat shoe for business or a night out. Some women just like the look of heels. But to be honest, high heels don't look good on everyone. Women with thick ankles or very wide feet just do not look good in them. You don't want to draw attention to your least good attributes. I've seen Melania in flat shoes and of course she looks good in those as well.

Any woman who can walk effortlessly in 4 inch heels is my personal hero.
I couldn’t pull it off when I was a young stunner.

I could make the opposite silly argument. The Trump woman are wearing heels to make themselves taller, symbolically showing they are not subservient to men.

. The Cinderella shoe fitted on the feet of all the Miss Teen USAs and Miss Universes Rindercella went to a bancy fall, met a Pransome Hince, fled from the bancy fall at the moke of stridnight and slopped her dripper.

I was told by a orthopedic nurse to wear a shoe with heels. It was supposed to help keep the stress off my knees. I do have to say, I wore HIGH heels in my younger years. I loved to intimidate short men!
