Gosh, but I thought the U.S. medical industry was "backwards" and western europe was sooooooooo much more progressive and enlightened to us when it comes to medical treatments?

This is a mammoth acknowledgment that our medical care is better than the Government care in Britain. Another thing that people across our country don’t realize is that most medical research is done in the United States. And the breakthroughs are mostly here, too. When you have free-market, private health care, there is money to donate to medical research. When everyone is paying another 10-20% of their income to provide healthcare for everybody else, the money isn’t available to donate to research. And ALL other countries benefit from the medical research done in the USA. Just say NO to Socialized Medicine!
