I watched the special TV documentary on Campbell tonight which highlighted his good-bye tour and his rising above the Alzheimer's Disease which gripped him during the tour.

(He could hardly remember his own name during this rather lengthy bus tour, but he performed on stage flawlessly).

It was a well-made production and done in good taste...but rather a downer for me while watching it. The documentary was just too tinged with sadness.

I will remember him through YouTube and other outlets as a wonderful, talented performer who, remarkably, handled his final tour with courage and perfection despite the grip the disease had on him during this time.

RIP, dear Glenn.

I saw it was on last night but couldn't bring myself to watch. Hard to watch and know the outcome! Too sad for me! He was, and still is, one of my very favorite musicians!!

When I was (quite) a bit younger, and worked on a ranch, we'd listen to his albums in the evening! Good for the soul, and psyche back then.

RIP!
