Elton John is the only artist with a top ten song for 40 years straight. Cannot beat that record.

Queer but he deserves credit for treating his songwriter with equal respect.

Sir Elton has said on several occasions that he never could have done it without Bernie Taupin. (On a side note, given Sir Elton’s proclivities, I have wondered if he and Taupin were butt-buddies.)

The acoustic version of ‘Hotel California’ is still my favorite.

The only band I hate more than The Eagles is Fleetwood Mac.

Even more than Air Supply or the Bee Gees?!?!?!

I agree with the Grateful Dead opinion!

“They treated Don Felder like crap.”

True but He asked about the money. That’s unforgivable in that world.

Like Freddy Mercury, admittedly bi-sexual

Written due to the media's coverage of Henley's arrest when police found a drugged, naked 16-year-old girl at his house in Hollywood. Henley got a $2,000 fine and two years probation for the offense.

Good GAD. Was Henley present at the time?!

Joe Walsh, who became an Eagle in 1975, brought his high-voltage electric-guitar mastery to song after song, especially his solo numbers and pre-Eagles work with the James Gang: “Life’s Been Good,” “Funk #49,” and “Rocky Mountain Way.”

Sorry Skippy, only one of those songs is from the James Gang.

Holy cr@p. I just read a news report on the arrest. There was a 15 YO girl present as well. The 16 YO was arrested for prostitution and the 15 YO was arrested for under the influence. Henley, you lousy expletive-deleted.

Yeah, I always marveled at his ability to get on his high horse about the news media after that one. The rock star free pass I guess.

De Young? Yep.

My Sister and I used to do a bang-up ‘falsetto’ whenever we heard, ‘Lady.’

Oh, man - I’ve got to call her and sing that to her now, LOL!
