Ken Pagans life changed forever with the extension of his elbow and the flick of his wrist.
Pagan, an avid hockey and baseball fan, etched his name in MLB postseason lore last October just for all the wrong reasons.
His name wont immediately ring a bell like other infamous fans like Jeffrey Maier, the 12-year-old ballhawk who snatched a controversial home-run ball in Game 1 of the 1996 ALCS between the Yankees and Orioles or Steve Bartman, the fan who interfered with a foul ball and watched his beloved Cubs drop the 2003 NLCS to the Marlins.

He should have been at “10-Cent Beer Night” in Cleveland.
He would have fit right in.
At 41 you should know how to control yourself in public, drunk or not. The man is an idiot.
Anybody who can afford to throw beer at an MLB park already has too much money. Might as well throw gold coins.
Steve Bartman, the Cubs fan who interfered with a foul ball that probably cost the Cubs a trip to the World Series years ago, was given a World Series Chicago Cubs Championship ring. I read that yesterday. The Ricketts family wanted to show that there are no hard feelings.
Well, at least he’s properly remorseful. Now he needs to stop dwelling on it and believe in the future.
Some people just shouldn’t drink.
PAGAN???? His last name is PAGAN??? And no one in the family ever changed it???
The solution is obvious: more people need to throw beer more often to provide reliable anonymity of a crowd.
(puh-GAHN, not PAY-gun) Popular Hispanic name. Same root as English name Paine, I think. Several pro baseball players named Pagan.
He’s an ass !!!
.
Agreed. I can remember back sometime in the 1980s, another idiot ran out onto the ice during a game at Boston Garden and linesman Ron Asselstine nailed him big time with a tackle into the boards.
I think he’s a work-in-progress, as we all are.
Whomp, whomp
The Cubs just gave Steve Bartman a World Series ring to let all Cubs fans know the hatchet is buried. But then he wasn’t a drunk throwing a beer can.
Natural consequences for a drunken fool
Yes. Every day I seek to improve myself. Every day I find excuses to wander. As St Augustine was said to pray, “Lord make me chase, just not today”.
LOL! Yes, tomorrow is always ‘another day’...
Chaste. Chaste. Good lord, I could be a brilliant comic if I could only spell...
