How about the psychological damage by parents telling them their living in a fascist racist police state... that they may be gender fluid.... that white people are evil... that they need psychiatric meds as kids the long range effects of which have never been tested....

The National Boy Scouts of America has zero care of the opinions of parents. There’s no surveys handed out to families to poll their opinions. They respond only to their corporate donor masters and follow their every whim no matter how silly.
As for the opinions of a hack, well, what a shocker. If Trump had made a speech on topics the hack agreed with, not a word of damnation would be spoken.
“Parents” were not offended. A few activist nutjobs who are in the being offended business were offended.

Doubt very few if any parents did complain. However major corporate politically correct, anti Trump donors who sit on the Boy Scouts board probably again threatened to withhold donations unless an apology was made. They used the same financial tactic to force the Boy scouts to accommodate homosexual troop leaders. Boy Scouts of America headquarters employs over two hundred people. Without the corporate donors,they don’t get paid.
He probably prescribes Ritalin to every kid he sees.
I just talked to a scout who was there. He said that the news has it mostly wrong (no surprise), that he enjoyed it, and that the scouts around him enjoyed it as well.

I was pleased to see my grand son energized, connected, patriotic. Not sure where the flap is coming, but I think Trump is on track. The BSA needs to go back to the drawing board and find out what made them great.
