This type of snake kills a LOT of people. They are growing wild in Florida because dimwits released a bunch into the wild. Definitely too dangerous to allow them as pets.

No one was home at the house about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, but a glass cage was empty on the sidewalk and there was a small puddle of blood in the driveway. Reads like a description of a Far Side cartoon.
