Neither of them will, or should, go.

The constituencies that elected both are solid and that's the way American politics works.

Forget about the "Republicans" east of the Hudson river, as well. Their seats aren't going anywhere except to Democrats, but they caucus with Republicans, which means while their votes aren't reliable, the Congressional committees, where things actually get done are run by us.

That is NOT nothing, although too many FReepers think it is.

The people who need to go are those in red Republican districts/states who are not Republicans. Jeff Flake, John McCain (a problem soon remedied by God, but his seat must not go to someone like him.) Murkowski, Cochran, Graham, Hatch, Corker, Cornyn, Portman, Capito.

There is absolutely NO reason why any of these people should be serving in the US Senate as Republicans. Unlike the Maine Ladies, they have no excuse for their behavior and voting record, and although McCain is taking the heat, the truth is that any ONE of them could have been the 51st Demonrat vote, and would have been that vote if the disposable Senator from AZ had already died; he was their cover, that's all.

HIGHEST Priority: 0bama holdovers in the Executive Department, and those -- like McMaster -- protecting them. We would be better served by empty desks than keeping these people. Trump needs to FIRE McMaster NOW, and he needs to call his other cabinet level people in and read them the riot act: 0bama appointees that CAN be fired MUST be fired, and Bushbots need to be subject to extreme vetting. If they're clearly conservative, fine, but the most egregious of them also need to be fired NOW, and a good number of them should be shipped off to harmless rubber room jobs where they can't backstab conservatives.

McCabe at FBI needs to be put on leave until the IG report examing his behavior/conflicts is concluded, and following the IG report, he needs to be fired.

Fantasies about firing The Turtle and Ryan are just that, and nothing more.

Fantasies about a new party are nothing more than Democrat agitprop and they need to stop. The Republican Party is OUR party. It is a conservative party. WE pay the bills. WE do the organizing. WE do the grass roots work. WE have the think tanks. WE have the ideas. We have the principles. WE should not be the ones to leave. The losers need to be the ones to go, and the clearest, fastest place to start that is in the Executive Department.

A Republican party that for seven years tells us how badly they want to get rid of Obamacare, but in seven years has forged no new plan to make that happen because they, your elite establishment (McConnell & Ryan), thought that “our” POTUS candidate, Donald J. Trump, would get politically slaughtered by Hillary Clinton. And to boot, in this present seven month period from January 3, 2017, when Congress convened for its new session, not one iota of real, honest, effort and arm twisting, passage to repeal Obamacare was forthcoming.

And to boot, once again, McConnell and Ryan have waltzed all these useless Congress critters off to another thirty day vacation...while nothing gets done in Washington, DC. Sir, you have to kidding me or, maybe you are just stoned on smoking too much reefer or not mentally sound.!!! For goodness sakes get real.

All it would take to dump McConnell & Ryan is some serious grit from Senate & House Republicans, and they would gone in one round of Republican members voting to throw them both out with the garbage where, they both rightfully belong. Either, they should lead and win or, get out of the way from folks with the guts, will and determination to win and deliver on things they promised to get elected. End of story!!!

I don't know about the rest of those on your list, but I do know Shelley Capito, have spoken to her personally several times.

West Virginia is still a Democrat state at heart....WV'ers love their unions, their disability checks, their Medicaid and their government cheese, and if the Democrats would retreat from attacking the energy industry this state would go back to the Dems in a nano second.

So don't expect a limited government conservative to win here.
