Mandy Patinkin forced out of a three-week Broadway engagement because he was replacing an "actor of color" who is still going to leave anyway? That makes no sense! Now the show is more likely to CLOSE.

If I had a dollar for every time Manny quit or was fired from a production of any sort I’d be driving a much nicer truck. Very good (maybe great on stage ... overrated on the screen) actor who takes himself and his “craft” far too seriously.

Nothing new here. Mandy Patankin has quit so many shows and TV series, that this is simply another of his failed attempts to be an actor or whatever the heck he thinks he is.

If you read the whole article, it sounds like the other actor was forced out so Patinkin could take the role.
