Just curious, I mean it seems fraudulent to me.
A campaign donation that is. Could someone start a class action suit to get McCain to return donations.
Nope. His lawyer will say it’s a natural thing that politicians do - lie.
Yep. Quite frequently.
He is a fraud.
I’d say go for it. Strangle the bastard in litigation. Depose the staff who heard him bragging to the Rats about how he just screwed “Donald” last night. While there is no actual recall mechanism, AZ can launch a petition to make a request that he resign. Don’t let this traitor have a moments peace.
Broken campaign promises is one thing, but McCain should be in prison for his role in trying to sabotage Trump’s transition, his deep involvement in the Ukrainian revolution of 2014, his support for ISIS in Syria, and lots of other things.
I bet there’s a Supreme Court case out there giving cover to politicians for lies as “freedom of speech / political speech.”
Anyone? Bueller?
John McCain has always been a fraud. The brain tumor seems to be having a bad effect.
Please! Politicians campaign on A and do B all the time!
Woodrow Wilson campaigned for his second term with the slogan “He Kept Us Out of the War (Meaning WWI!)” then what happened? Do I need to answer the question?
Does he really have brain cancer? Or was it a ploy for people not to attack him...
He’s such a skunk that I wouldn’t put much of anything past him, but I do think that he probably does have brain cancer. Perhaps I’m just naive.
I’m sure you’re right. But he’s so dishonest! And he hates Trump so much. Petty, evil little man.
Don’t bother. McCain will be sleeping with the hagfish long before any suit would make it to court. Because the cancer is in his prefrontal lobe, he will start by losing his judgment. After that, his violent rages might get worse.
The biggest question is will he just keel over, or will he suddenly roach motel it in a hospital.
He has a long history of being dishonest about virtually everything, so I doubt you would get anywhere.
Read my lips—No.
It never hurts to write a letter asking to have your donation money refunded since the candidate reneged on his campaign promise. Be sure to copy the local papers & maybe a few national papers. And media. Might not get your money back, but you can at least make a stink over McCain’s behavior.
You can sue for anything. This case would get tossed out. Campaign promises aren’t enforcible in court. For good reason, when you think about it. Courts wouldn’t have time for anything else if they took “breach of campaign promise” suits.
AZ Guv gets to name McCain replacement.
Kelli Ward is the perfect Trump supporter.
I figured as much it just seems like it was less of campaign promise and something he specifically fundraised on, sent emails mailed fliers etc.
