"YOU said your administration would not pursue Hillary. And even though I personally disagree with Sessions recusing himself, you've no more loyal person. He was the first senator to endorse you. He campaigned for you. He left the Senate to serve you. Sessions is pursuing your agenda at DOJ. And if you think you'll do better, I believe you're wrong. Besides, the Senate has to confirm whomever you nominate."
How bout all the BS,trash talking by the Donald has all been PLANNED with the folks he’s throwing dirt on ??? Just to keep his enemies busy and absorbed in nonsensical crapola ??
Fake News? I think so.
Did Levin say that the President should "stop tweet-attacking Jeff Sessions"? I don't think so.
I don't remember hearing Levin say that last night when I heard the Sessions part of his program and in the Real Clear Politics six minute linked excerpt, Levin doesn't say it.
In fact in both last nights show and the previous night's show, Levin did criticize Session for the recusal and his words were similar to Trump's criticisms of Sessions.
Levin did however say that Trump should not force out Sessions.
I wish FR had a like button, because you are all spot on.
Stop tweeting and FIRE HIS ASS NOW !!
Not unpopular. The rest of us don't want to argue about style. Levin disagrees on style, but Levin, Sessions and Trump all agree on substance which is natural law and the rule of law. Everything else, especially Trump's style, is trivial in comparison.
Why is Trump criticizing Sessions on Twitter? Shouldn’t that sort of thing be handled behind closed doors?
So Levin on his radio show can say that the recusal was wrong but Trump can't tweet the same?
Mr. Levin, stop pretending not to be a NeverTrumper in between tantrums, it’s just not believable, never has been.
Ridiculous. The deep state is not run by them, nor the do-nothing Congress. Going after them publicly seems to be the demand here. But legal cases are not built in the media especially the enemy media.
Russian? That's media propaganda. Sessions filled out the SF86 properly, no encounters he had needed to be mentioned per the instructions. Second Sessions recused on campaign issues, not Russia. Third he did not recuse on Hillary and I do expect him to do something there and not leak about it. But I am also realistic enough to think he could decide it is too difficult with her underlings all granted immunity and covering for her.
I do agree that recusal was wrong. But yes -- Levin is a commentator and has a different role than the President who actually has the authority to fire the AG.
If Trump was so disappointed in the recusal that he thinks Sessions should be fired, then he should just fire him.
I don't have a problem with Trump stating publicly, as he did to the NYT, that he thinks Sessions shouldn't have recused himself. But that should be all he said. I don't think he should be getting into a p*ssing contest on Twitter with Sessions.
Name one high profile arrest to a series of recent and past crimes by Democrats that facilitated and I will agree.
You had an ex-FBI Director leak classified material to the New York Times through a Professor (he walking free with a eight figure book deal).
You had ex-DNC chair return smashed laptops to the FBI that are part of espionage spy ring (did not bat an eye).
You had 60,000 emails, several classified on a convicted perverts laptop (let bygones be bygones).
You had the Clinton foundation receive 150,000,000 dollars from enemies the state (old news).
There have been more than 20 times the number of classified leaks in Trumps first six months (one low level leaker punished, Rice walks free).
This list could go on forever, and not one, not one, high profile arrest? He has turned his back on all Crimes relating to Democrats, I call that betrayal.
Good.
But that should be all he said. I don't think he should be getting into a p*ssing contest on Twitter with Sessions.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Trump simply criticize the recusal decision?
Had we listened to Levin, no doubt, Hellary would be the President.
You are not alone.
What no one knows is the “rest of the story”.
Including me.
But consider this scenario:
“Jeff, I know you are a strong and ethical man, and I am going to have to put you out there all by yourself for a while”.
“Mr. President, you do what you have to do. I can take it”.
Sessions was seething over "deepstate" long, long before Trump ever entertained the idea of running for President!
He came to D.C. along with Reagan and understood how entrenched the denizens of the swamp were that stabbed Ronald Reagan in the back (both parties then, as now) constantly.
Trump may wish he'd never appointed Sessions to AG but it's definitely not because of any disloyalty on the part of Sessions.
OP = Eight sentences from Mark Levin.
2 are opinions.
6 are statements of truth and fact.
So what is in dispute here? The 6 facts or the opinions?
Then why doesn’t he go ahead and do it?

Maybe he doesn’t want to tell his friend, Jeff, he’s fired because he frickin’ sucks.
