DUNdun da da DUNdun da da DUNdun da da DUNdun da da DAAAAAAAAAH
It was worth the wait to see Arya get more Freys.
I’m just here for The Hound.
Please add me to your ping list.
The beginning of the episode was great. For the rest of the show — like most of the seasons, this one is starting off a little slow to get conditions set. Season 6 did the same thing, and then that ended so well.
Tell them, the North remembers......
Great line by Arya
They are setting up very interesting possibilities as Samwell Tarley finds out there’s a whole bunch of dragon glass at dragonstone and Jon mentions that they need to get a lot of dragon glass to fight the white walkers, and now who is at dragonstone? Is this how Jon and Danerys meet? I would think he would send Davos down there as an emissary.
Game of thrones is all about acquiring and keeping power and so it has many parallels to the current time. The same principles apply. With that in mind, who does Trump remind you of the most on GOT and why?
I might get flamed for this, but for me it’s Cersei. She might be ruthless and makes a lot of enemies, but in the end she gets what she wants and gets things done. Yes, she looks to be in a very weak position right now, but I believed at the beginning of last season she was the cast member most likely to die off and it didn’t happen. She always seems to survive so don’t count her out this season either.

Game of Thrones Theme on a Hurdy Gurdy.
I’m not a fan of the show, but I am a fan of the young lady in the video above- she’s worth your time.
It’s been a while since I read the books, but I remember Cercei’s inner monologues revealed that she is quite literally insane. Of course they might change it for the show.
We also find out (through Sams montage) that Ser Jorah (the one with the Grayscale) is now in the quarantine cells at the Citadel. Guess the rumors of the actor Jim Broadbent being cast as a Grand Maester in order to cure Jorahs grayscale are panning out.
I am wondering WHO was in that cell asking about Danerys.
Amen, brother! "Winter came for the Freys" Wonderful. Arya avenged her family. I liked it!
Ooooh, is that who that was!? Thank you, I was wondering who was in that cell. Jorah Mormont.
The Iron Born could be the second coming of Lord Nelson! It doesn’t matter, Dani has a Naval air arm that no one else has or can successfully defend against called dragons.
My only guess is Euron Greyjoy will use the horn Dragonbinder to control one or more of Dani’s dragons. You know, the only plot device capable of removing Dani’s OP advantage because...drama. No one really cares about the fight for King’s Landing. We just want the Night King to get move on down south.
I’m still wondering how the Lannister’s are paying and feeding their troops. They ran out of gold seasons ago and the best farmlands have revolted.
What was Ed Sheeran’s cameo?
Could you imagine Gendry trying to row off the island, then after Stanis leaves, hiding there because it is the farthest place from anyone who wants to kill him?
Tyrion is a natural connection. “You’re the Lord brother of my wife Sansa. How are you, and how is she?”
If I have been following things correctly, and I may not be, Jon and Danerys do meet and each considers the other a good match, only to find out at an inoportune time that they are half brother and sister.
I'm surprised the Iron Bank of Braavos hasn't made an appearance recently. I would think that the Bank might be a powerful adversary to the Lannisters/a powerful friend to Danaerys. They want to get paid.
