How low is the floor for Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly’s ratings? When it comes to Kelly, absence did not make the heart grow fonder. Kelly’s show returned from a week off last night and hit another new low in total viewers. Her show could not even get more viewers than a years-old rerun of Dateline that ran the week before during the Fourth of July holiday weekend when many television viewers were not even in their homes.

I turned off Fox news fifteen minutes into the first debate and haven’t watched them since.
Kelly showed how nasty she was that night and I’ve had no use for her or Fox since then.

The reason FOX has viewers is BECAUSE they allow a few conservatives to have a voice.

Maybe that’s also why Daily Mail (Murdoch) seems to have so many anti-Trump, inaccurate hit pieces on President Trump.
Megyn has thrown away her credibility. To the rational right she revealed herself as an intellectual phony on a partisan crusade. To the emotional left she is forever tainted by her time at Fox. This loss of credibility is professional death for a talking head.
That leaves appearance as part of delivering the news in a agreeable fashion. Megyn’s appearance is turning harsh by her personal choice. It reflects her increasing bitterness at losing professional status. Ironically, as her talking head appearance declines viewers are driven to focus on her words, and are repelled.
Megyn Kelly is becoming a bitter harridan. She has thrown herself from the heights of her trade. But at least she has a multimillion dollar mattress to cushion her fall from talking head grace.
Should Ms. Kelly pause to ponder her fall, she may learn the meaning of hubris.
