I live in a Blue Dog area. Most folks here are Democrats. But that's only because their grandfathers and fathers were Democrats. Their grandfathers voted for JFK, and their fathers voted for Reagan. And in 2016 they voted for Trump. Yep, my blue state went for Trump.
So why am I disappointed? It's the Fourth of July, and maybe one house out of ten here has a flag out front. Why is that?
You’re wrong. It’s RED dog.
Why is everyone content to accept ABC’s nearly 40 year-old shenanigans to shift red from Dems to the other side?
I was pleased to see a sea of blue on the map when Reagan won. Very quickly someone changed it to red and everybody & their sister has been short-stroking the rest of us ever since...
Flags cost money, and they have not yet recovered from the Obama economy?
Call ahead to police HQ, then lead them there. When I was between jobs many years ago I scabbed for a grocery chain whose union thugs were on strike. When I locked up and left one night there was a car parked at the far end of the lot, and I thought I saw movement in it. Sure enough, it followed me, lights off. So I made a couple of random turns to confirm that it was indeed following, then led them to police headquarters, pulled in, go out and made a show of getting their plate number. This was before cell phones so the cops were not on notice. But no trouble thereafter.
Unless you have a "Make my day" attitude...
