Four people have been arrested and are now behind bars as police investigate the kidnapping and death of 13-year-old Shavon Randle. The body of another man, 19-year-old Michael Titus, was found in the same abandoned Dallas home.
In an arrest affidavit, investigators say a family member of Shavon Randle was dating a man who stole drugs from two people.

Shavon was apparently related to someone who was involved with the folks who stole from the wrong pot dealers.
Of course, the Liberaltarians on FR assure us that Pot is a vicitmless crime.

I was wondering what the real story was. Thanks for posting.
I’ll take a wild guess.
Laporshya how do you even pronounce that? Lapoche-a like the car???
“Of course, the Liberaltarians on FR assure us that Pot is a vicitmless crime.”
When was the last time the Budweiser rep killed the Miller rep’s kid over market share?
Dipstick.

Lets outlaw everything that has been an excuse for taking somebody’s life, to prevent victims of course.
Women. TV sets. Video game consoles. Automobiles. Pens. Books. Money. Opportunities. Weapons. Radios. Lottery tickets.
Im sure others can add to the list, but my time is limited.
“Devontae Owens, Laquon Wilkerson, Darius Fields, and Laporshya Polley”
What is there to say?
I thought it was a misspelling of leprosy. 😀
Yup cartels and gangs are bad things
Hadn’t kept up with the story but figured it had to be drugs. So sad.
The word “Lancaster” made me think this was a story about the Amish...
I personally know that drugs mess up families, and I will never say that they are victimless crimes. No drugs are victimless crimes, but please don’t confuse things. The people here are charged with Penalty Group 3 possession. Marijuana possession in Texas has its own code. That’s not what was involved here, at least, not at this juncture. Here’s a list of what’s included in the group that was listed on the arrest record: Penalty Group 3: Valium, Xanex, Ritalin, and Hydrocodone (less than 300 mg.) There’s an awful lot of controlled substance abuse going on, throughout our country. It’s big money on the black market.
Pot or marijuana isn't mentioned even once in the article. Do you report for CNN?
had to research but this was Lancaster Ca not the one in PA....
Not sure why you are carrying on about other drugs. It was about marijuana. Titus, the other decedent, was supposed to be guarding the marijuana when it was stolen. http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2017/07/03/michael-titus-deadly-drug-dispute/
No, I’m smart enough to get my news from several sources, unlike you.
Ever hear of something called ‘radio’? Or perhaps, ‘Google’?
but WHY make it so available to our young people?...knowing what drug use can do to people....WHY push it so much?..
Nope, not Ca (California or Canada?). There's a reason I put "Dallas" and "Texas" in the keywords.
And the authoritarians will once again falsely and incoherently conflate actual crime with something that isn't a crime at all.
Murder is an actual crime. Kidnapping is an actual crime. Theft is an actual crime.
Possessing one of God's own plants isn't, and never will be...
