Oldsmobiles rocked.

The Cutless 442 was a beast, but as I said earlier regarding Pontiacs, even the sedans had serious Big Balls on the road.

And the ride was beautiful, like floating...

And all that was at a price that Pop could afford and still keep a roof over your head, the lights on, and food in your belly.

Somebody f*cked all that up along the way...

Got a 92 Bonneville SE sitting in the drive now, waiting for overhaul. Sweet old girl, but she likes money... Lord, does she like money :^)...

Yea. I had some friends, twin brothers actually that had one of those 442’s back then. Fastest car in the county for a long time! Changing the subject a little, but I got a 56 Corvette when I came home from Vietnam Nam. Took it to college In Florida. That was the one I should have kept haha, We all had one of those I guess. Got a lot of mileage out of that car. Hot little 265 with 3 on the floor. Blew it up and put a 327 in it with a Borg Warner 4 speed. Sold to a Miami Cop for 1000 dollars when I got married.
