Senate GOP delays vote on health care bill Ok, let's get this headline right:

Senate GOP RINOs and Trump haters/Republic haters like Maine's scum sucking bottom dwelling baby killer, susan collins, delay vote on health care bill

There, now that's accuracy in a headline.

good!

Both Trump’s Presidency and the GOP will be destroyed if this fake “repeal” bill becomes law.

GOPcare still leaves in place 99.9% of obamacare.

it does nothing to bring down cost of insurance or even more importantly, cost of health care itself, since both parties are totally bought out by drug and insurance companies, and healthcare and medication costs are still going to be through the roof.

it does nothing about competition, either in insurance or healthcare.

it does nothing to rein in obscene drug prices.

it does nothing about insurance across state borders.

it does nothing about insurance companies selling cheap catastrophic insurance, or any other policies they so desire, as long as legal and not fraudulent.

it does nothing about eliminating obamacare mandates that make insurance unaffordable.

RepublicanCare is a sick joke.

they’d be WAY better off to pass no bill at all and let kommiecare collapse in a year, and THEN they’d have a universal mandate to actually repeal and replace.

We need a repeal and not replace plus laws regarding pre-existing conditions, portability, etc.

We do not need another government health program. The republicans have long since caved in (again in true gop fashion) on that issue.

GOP have had 7+ years to have this legislation ready. What have they done, nothing, again as usual.

I thought they would have to, unless seeing the bill voted down again was going to be part of some strategy.
How about sending Paul Ryan on an early summer vacation, and everybody else keep working at it?
Ask people like Cruz and Rand Paul for help to hammer something out.
Paul Ryan seems under somebody’s order to keep this undone for as long as possible.

No one is going to care about delays if it passes. The GOP is far ahead of the schedule the Dems had getting Obamacare passed, and they had far bigger majorities.

The Scott Brown event only gave the GOP 40 votes in the Senate and forced Reconciliation from Byrd. McConnell has far fewer votes to deal with, but his skills as Majority Leader have been nothing less than awesome. He almost alone is why we don’t have an overwhelmingly liberal USSC.

One more time, idealogues.

The healthcare bill has to do only 2 things to hold both Houses next year. Trying for more almost certainly loses the 2nd of those 2 things.

They are:

1) It has to reduce premiums.

2) It has to pass both Houses.

Nothing more reqd.

Good grief....you’re on numerous HC thread’s pushing this tripe.

Again...how does removing the mandates and taxes “leave 99.9% of 0Care”?????

It does NOT. Stop with the fake news.

BTW why is holding houses more important than chest beating “principle”?

Because Ginsberg is going to die soon and Clarence Thomas is ready to retire. We must hold the Senate. We have a chance for a conservative court for 30 yrs if we just hold the Senate.

“it does nothing”

Probably all it was intended to do.

We need a bill that simply repeals the fines on individuals.

One sentence.

Any Republican Senator that refuses to remove the fines for not buying an overpriced product will be history.

I don’t think even RINO #1 Susan Collins will refuse to repeal the language that imposes the fines.

They’re getting a “talking to”...

“they’d be WAY better off to pass no bill at all and let kommiecare collapse in a year, and THEN they’d have a universal mandate to actually repeal and replace.”

If I hire a plumber to fix a leaking pipe and the best he can do is stand by and watch while it floods my house, you think I’m gonna go back to that plumber next time?

They have the House, they have the Senate and they have the WH. They were elected to sort out healthcare. If they can’t pass a decent law, not a single one of them deserves re-election.

You know I’m sick of this saving obamacare BS! Repeal or let it die on it’s own!

Either let Obamacare collapse or repeal it in its entirety and start over from scratch.

None of the RINO tweaking and fine tuning of the current monster.

The "Republicare" bill most certainly fails on count number 1. Because of that it probably will fail on count number 2 (and it should).

This is not a matter of ideology.

A perfect bill may not be possible. A "good enough" bill may be possible.

This bill is not "good enough".

My guess is they probably thought Prez Trump would lose the election.
