Judges at the European Court of Human Rights have rejected a plea from the parents of terminally-ill baby Charlie Gard....
Chris Gard and Connie Yates lost their final legal bid to take their son to the US for treatment.......
His parents had previously seen a Supreme Court challenge to continue Charlie's life support fail.
European court judges have now concluded it was most likely Charlie was 'being exposed to continued pain, suffering and distress" and undergoing experimental treatment with "no prospects of success--would offer no benefit."
They said the application presented by the parents was "inadmissible" and said the court's decision was "final".
The court "also considered that it was appropriate to life the interim measure" which had required doctors to continue providing life support treatment to Charlie.
BBC health correspondent Fergus Walsh said it is likely Charlie's life support machine will be turned off within a few days following discussions between the hospital and his family.......

The ‘healthcare system’ of this country is on its was to the style used against Charlie Gard in the UK.
Its more profitable for business (Warren Buffett has said healthcare costs are worse than taxes for business) to have the government take over responsibility for health coverage and let the little people pay taxes for their rationed healthcare.
In single payer Canada the corporate taxes are low while people pay income taxes and sales taxes nationally plus soon carbon taxes will kick in along with a national “pot” tax with legalization of ‘weed’.

What is pathetic is that the authorities in Sweden will not go to “no go islamist zones” but they will go tot he nicer parts of the city ( Non-islamic parts ) to kill of the elderly peopel so their welfare stater can support more islamic Rapeugees in the no go zones that they will not even go to....

I wasn’t aware Sweden’s done that as well (unless you refer to their decision to inflict death-by-refugee on their populace.

Saddest story ever,
A bit of thought—but I think it basically boils down to it being very hard to be reasonably objective when you are either part of the culture that is in denial and in its death thros, or part of another culture that is in denial about the same thing.
China is detatched enough for objectivity, and has an intellectual culture that is likely to endure for another century or two.
