Jameson Parker (vanity)
Me

Posted on 06/26/2017 4:51:40 AM PDT by MacMattico

So I was surfing around the net and came across readjamesonparker.com Yes, AJ from Simon nad Simon. In 1992 he was shot and seriously injured but obviously recovered. His blog was interesting in that he is very pro-first and second amendment, talks about how our kids aren't being taught about government and although he is pretty disgusted with Washington as a whole (aren't we all) he seems pro-Trump and furious over the democrats (including Nancy Pelosi) and their reaction to the Steve Scalise shooting. I didn't expect this from a Cali celeb. My teenage crush may be back! I was looking him up because my sister recommended his books and especially his autobiography about the time after he was shot, An Accidental Cowboy. Looks like a good read! He talks about the NRA in answering a question. Funny we never get to hear him interviewed, a shooting victim celeb who doesn't blame the gun!

I thought his brother was cuter. I’ll look for his book in my library catalog.

Rick was a Vietnam vet, like Magnum, P.I. Golly, that was a long time ago!

Yup! I remember that! The first 3 seasons are on HULU. I liked Rick (Gerald McRaney) very much as well. But AJ’s boyish charm and blonde hair did it for me!! :) I read they are good friends still today.

Jameson Parker? Thudd! Be still my heart. Tom Selleck, Gerald McRaney, and now Jameson Parker. That was good TV back then.

Swoon!

We watched some “Simon and Simon” on Netflix. The writing and performances have held up well, but the video quality wasn’t very good.

I still like Higgins best.

Thomas: “Higgins, you’re such a snob.”
Higgins” “I prefer to think of myself as ... civilized.”

Along with other conservative, gun toting actors (Tom Sellik, Charlton Heston, Brad Johnson and more) he was on American Hunter TV series. An NRA produced hunting show.

It's been good on HULU. I know if you try to watch episodes on Youtube they are chopped up and the sound changed so they aren't caught and removed because of copyright I guess.

Now that I’m older, I like Higgins better. But you have to admit, Thomas and TC looked better in shorts!

Now that I’m 50, it’s harder to approve of a man who lives on a boat parked in his brother’s yard.
